Beer pours a nice dark copper color with a slight amount of white foamy head.

Beer smells very sweet and malty. Very faint hoppy smell, but not too much going on here.

Taste is very malty. Hints of grapefruit hops as well. Not as flavorful as I would have liked.

Mouthfeel was a tad thick and not enough carbonation for my liking.

The Rogue American Amber is a decent amber ale. The beer poured a clear amber with thin slightly off white head that is leaving a decent lace. The smell is rather bland...some sweet malt scent, but overall not the best amber I have smelled. The taste is solid with hints of sweet malt, but there is a dry bitterness to the beer. The mouthfeel is medium body with good carbonation. Overall it is a solid amber, but not the best balanced amber i have had.

Amber with a white head that quickly dropped. A floral resin with some sweet caramel malt hits your nose, though maybe I should have said that in reverse order. Flavor starts sweet from the caramel malt and closes out with the floral hops and a dry finish. Good balance to this one. Carbonated and and light. A nice take on an amber, easy to drink and sessionable. The dry finish to this thing rubs me the wrong way just a bit, not sure it suits the style for me.
