Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold, before adding the yeast, becomes a cloudy orange with the yeast swirled and added, topped with a two finger puffy off-white head, leaves puffy webs of lacing.
Sweet, spice and wheat aroma.
Citrus, wheat and toast taste, coriander, spices, zest, a ginger note comes out with warming.
Medium bodied, very refreshing and easily drinkable.

Brilliant gold color...orange peel, ginger and corriander on the nose...taste is clearly more whit than hefe...nice ginger notes....lower medium body...crisp....

Nice summer quencher with flavor...definitely more of a whit...This ia a nice brew but for the 4.25 price of a pint I'd rather buy a sixer of Blue Moon or something

Hoegaarden glass.

I agitated this beer quite a bit that I had to pry off the cap different imes to let out the co2.Completely no yeast on the bottem of the bottle and thats what I wanted.Total blizzardness.Comes out a very murky yellow, dusty body that seems darker in the center of the glass.Small white head that falls faster then most BMC heads. No lacing on the first glass. The 2nd pour left a nice one finger white head and that fell to a patch.

Lots-O-ginger,very clean smell(hops)It is a bit ginger heavy and that may be the only downfall.

Ginger, hops, and spiciness, some coriander and lemon,Yeast, wheats and small amounts of malt. This may be the only Rogue beer that I have had that didnt have that Pac Man yeast taste.Sometimes thats good.Small bitterness at the end of the taste.

CO2 is a bit too harsh.Mouthful is very pleasent and its a very easy drinker.Great for a summer beer but great for me anytime of the year.

I like this beer quite a bit and will have again.I like this take on the german hefe, its been Rogueinized and they did a hell of a job with it.Cheers John Maier.

Pours a hazy golden with a huge white head, nice lacing. Smells yeasty, hoppy, little citrus. Taste is very nicely hopped, some spices, pretty malty and wheaty, but the hops dominate and are very pleasant. Very smooth beer, very nice carbonation and an all round easy drink, very rich flavour.

Great mouth feel, not to much carbonation. Subtle flavor, good wheat taste with notes of cream or cream soda? A little sweet also. . No to chewy like one would think of a hef. Its a little on the pricy side, but you get allot and the flavor is well worth it. Also love supporting local, West Coast Breweries.

Pours to a golden-orange color with a thick white head. In the aroma I get an immediate blast of ginger, coriander, and fruit. The flavor is fruity with the ginger and coriander flavors as well. It is very smooth and drinkable with a drying finish. It is a light-bodied, refreshing brew. I was very impressed with this one.

Perfect witbier pour. Not just a perfect pour for the style--a PERFECT pour. A tight, soapy two-finger head sticks atop a perfect hazy gold. I can't think of a really, really nice way to describe this color. It's just gold. Wonderful gold.

Smells like very nice Rouge pacman yeast with a hint of wheatmalt. Doesn't smell much like a witbier, but the blankness works well as the Rogue yeast gets to really shine.

Dry hop taste followed by wonderful yeast ending with a hint of pepper hop. Nice balance, and once again the yeast takes center stage.

A light, almost straw colored weizen that pours with a lot of carbonation creating a bright, white head on top of the beer. The aroma is touch spicy with a bit of straw or hay; not too exciting. Half-E-Weizen tastes crisp with toasted malt flavors and a lightly bitter, mineral-like finish. This beer tastes more like a cross between a wheat beer and pilsner, then a hefe-weizen. (There's lots of trub down at the bottom of the bottle, but none if my glass.) I rouse the yeast and pour again and I get very cloudy beer with a head of loose white bubbles. (I can still taste the bitter finish of the last few sips of this beer as I watch th head fall.)
Poured with the yeast in suspension, this beer changes and has a more herbal bouquet; more yeasty esters. The addition of the yeast seems to soften the beer, leaving it less crisp and less clean. I think the bitterness is somewhat more muted, too. The mouthfeel is smooth, but perhaps a touch smoother with the yeast added. Incidentally, I didn't really notice the ginger (an ingredient that is labeled on the bottle) until I looked at the ingredients.
Overall, a a crisp, tasty wheat for summertime, and one that inspires me to homebrew an example of my own.

Appearance: Great hazy golden orange hue with a big carbonated white head leaves decent scattered lacing. Aroma: A sharp citrus tint with herbal spices in the background, peppery Saaz hops, bready characteristic Pac Man yeast strain, and ginger what a nice mixture creative brewing here. Taste: The ginger is upfront very nice brew seems like something that could be on the Morimoto lineup, soft bready yeast with the Saaz bite in the finish. It contains a cream overall tone with hints of clove and coriander not a true hefeweizen but awesome mix of flavors. Mouthfeel: This is where this beer emulates a weizen the most has a creamy fluffier mouthfeel, with spritzier carbonation medium to light in body. Drinkability: The spices start to wear on the palate but overall an excellently refreshing mad scientist gone homebrewer creation.

appearance: The pour into a pint glass creates a thin, white head. A fast, ample stream of bubbles rises from the bottom of the glass. The beer is a slightly cloudy, straw golden color.

smell: light wheat, light and clean spicy hops, and a big spicy ginger presence. The ginger smells great.

mouthfeel: Medium high in carbonation and light in body.

taste: very light wheat flavors under the dominant ginger characteristic. Though the ginger is definately the dominant flavor, it does not seem overdone at all.

drinkability: tasty and easily drinkable

I give Rogue respect for their nice use of ginger here. Well balanced and flavorful.

Pours a nice hazy yellow color with a white head. It smells of yeast and citrus fruits with hops coming out as well. The taste is refreshing: slightly sweet, very tart, and just enough bitterness. Again, Rogue has done a perfect job of balancing this beer's characteristics. I do wish that this beer was a little more aggressive...but nothing was done wrong...just a little conservative in my opinion. Overall though, amazing.

22-ounce bottle agitated and poured into a weizen glass yields a hazy orangeade body with huge chunks of sediment that didn't diffuse, topped with three thick fingers of soapy white foam that retains well and leaves puffs of lacing on the glass.

Smell is fruity with spicy bubblegum and banana.

Taste is tangy and wheaty with sweet malty ginger and a dose of bitter banana skin. Toasty, bready notes pervade the drink.

Great feel and drinkability.
