Nice deep gold with a white head. The smell is sweet and fruity and reminds me of orange and pineapple. There is also a pine scent in the nose as well. The taste is malty sweet with an orange zest flavor and a hint of caramel. This is washed away by the quite bitter pine resin taste from the hops.

Quality beer. Had no really high expectations for this one, but this surprised me in every way. 4/5 at-least and will recommend this one to friends. Good job Rogue.

im a fan of Rogue beers in general, but this one was disappointing. They definitely weren't kidding about lingering bitterness but overall not memorable due to flavour. I would not recommend this to any beer drinker.

Poured into a standard pint a hazed peach color with a very tight formed 1/2 finger white that stuck like glue to the glass as it settled into a creamy mass.Ahh the aromas of Amarillo hops,ya gotta love it,they seemed to peter out just a little though, quite citric with a bit of a leafy note in the nose. There is a bit of a sharpness in the mouth that never really mellows out completely.Flavors are good but not great,it seems the hops seem to not pack as big a punch as you might expect, citric notes seem to spread out instead of packing a big punch. Its pretty well hopped and flavorful, but it could have been better I think.

Creamy and smooth with a big white head. Lots of lacing and sticky foam all down the glass. Fantastic Amarillo hop taste and aroma. What an American IPA should be. Nice malt backbone. I could drink this one all day long. Even at $5.75 for a 22 oz. I would buy it again.

A: This beers has a golden straw color and a two-finger head results from a medium pour into a standard pint glass. This head is foamy, yet light. I spy copious and excited carbonation bubbles.
S: It smells more like a standard APA than an IPA. There are some gentle citrus notes evident, with plenty of hearty bread aromas. I also detect some pear smells.
T: The taste is heavy on bread flavors that mix with a bitter, earthy hop finish. There are some citrus notes present, but in general it lacks in the powerful citrus punch that I really dig from an IPA.
M: The beer is pretty medium bodied for an IPA and has a satisfying bitter hop character on the finish.
D: This beer is pretty run of the mill as far as IPAs go. There are many others that I would choose over it and it really just didn't float my boat to India.

A- rusty, golden orange with a nice, pillowy off-white head.
S- My first thought is pine, with candied orange, pineapple, and grapefruit.
T&M- A quick shot of soft malt quickly transforms into fruity and piney hops, medium body finishes with a pronounced bitter hop kick.
I won't be breaking down any walls to try this again, but a very nice single IPA.

Found this in the back of a store, who knows how long it had been there. What's not to like about the appearance of an IPA? In my pint glass the beer was a gold color with a thick white head that left abundant lacing. Aroma was a little weak, I could detect a floral aroma, and not much else. Primarily pine taste, tiny bit of citrus, and a nice lingering bitterness. Enjoyable beer.

22oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange with a medium creamy off white head that retains well and laces the glass some.
The aroma is grassy resiny fruity hops with some astringent malt.
The flavor is sweet biscuity malts with floral resiny hops that linger in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a decent IPA with good bitterness. Not quite the profiles I enjoy.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 1 pint, 6oz bottle into a pint glass. The bottle has nice list of ingredients use including the malts and hops. The IBUs are listed at 70 but there is no ABV% or freshness date.
Appearance: The liquid is hazy and has a medium amber color with a tall three to four finger head on top. Its just off white in color and holds on well, slowly fading to a light covering that makes cool lace rings all the way down the glass.
Smell: Hops fill the nose with notes of lemon and lime citrus over herbal notes, green tobacco leaves and pale malt.
Taste: The solid medium to full body sports a spicy mix of citrus and dank herbal hops on a base of pale mildly sweet malt. It finishes with slow lingering hop bitterness. Carbonation is well balanced giving it a smooth yet lively feel.
Notes: Overall its s solid IPA.
