12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass

Thanks Larry for hooking me up with this beer

Appearance : cloudy yellow color with tons of fluffy white head with lots of sticky lacing . The fluffy white head has long retention

Smell : very pleasant aromas of citrus and pine. The aroma is inviting but not overwhelming

Taste : flavor is very solid. Lots of yummy hop bitterness that really lingers. Not much sweetness detected

Mouthfeel : medium body brew that has a pleasant dry finish

Overall : I was pleasantly surprised by this brew. Very good beer that is well done

I like this beer dont get me wrong but I have 1 huge huge problem with it....

This beer costs me $15.35 a six yes SIX pack....

the most ive ever paid for beer before this was $12 a six pack for hobgoblin.

okay...

It smells piney and resionous hops (amarillos)

the color is a deep golden yellow.

taste is pretty balance between sweet/bitter but the underlying flavor is piney bitterness..

Overall I must like it cause ive bought 4 six packs since ive seen it recently ...

Its hard for me to get good beers (craft beers) as I live in a tiny tiny town and mostly have to get things special ordered just for me.

I will buy this again but only when on paydays like today..
im actually drinking one of these now.

What really kills me is I know of better beers that I can get in 6 packs for cheaper.. a good craft beer should be tops $10.50 a six pack...

Hell I can even get the best IPA (in my opinion) Bells Two Hearted Ale cheaper than the yellow snow....

if I saw this beer and sam adams latitude 48 side by side i would buy the lat. 48 and save $$ about 7 dollars a six pack..

Im sorry rogue but I just cant get over the 15$ six pack price

I had this on tap at O'reilly's served in a pint.

The color is a light golden amber with mild haze and slight white head that settles with little lace and small bead. The smell is mostly citrus and herbal yet there is a hint of yeasty fruitiness and light floral attribute. The feel is mostly bitter with slight sweetness and generally dry body with a moderate astringency.

The taste is good with some very piney hops and mild malt backing, lasting resinous and slight bitter citrus pithy grapefruit tinges round out with a gentle yeast tanginess. The overall is good but could use more hop aroma and is a little on the bitter side with more focus on the flavor of the hops it could be a very decent IPA, it is good but I wouldn't say great.
