A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color with some orange highlights and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation along with fine particles visible floating in suspension. It poured with a finger high frothy off white head that gradually died down but consistently left a thin head covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: There are light to moderately strong aromas of citrusy hops in the nose.
T: The beer is a moderate to strong amount of hop bitterness and has flavors of citrus and hints of caramel malts. The bitterness lingers in the aftertaste.
M: It feels medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA is quite drinkable even though it is packed with hop bitterness.

Poured into a pilsner glass.

A: Stoplight yellow with 2 fingers of off-white head and a couple of yeasty yellow blobs on top. Pretty impressive trick with the lacing; it actually looks like hundreds of tiny snowflakes.

S: Sharp piney hops.

T: Piney hops that take on more citrusy notes as it warms. Very bitter. Wasn't this a winter release? I'd expected the hoppiness of this to be somewhat less than it was. If there's a malt presence in this, it's undetectable. Even the hops are buried under their own bitterness.

M: Medium but with a foaminess that makes it a bit thick.

O: Eh. A completely off balance IPA with nothing to set it apart from the pack. Nice lacing though.

12 oz bottle poured into a pint glass

Thanks Larry for hooking me up with this beer

Appearance : cloudy yellow color with tons of fluffy white head with lots of sticky lacing . The fluffy white head has long retention

Smell : very pleasant aromas of citrus and pine. The aroma is inviting but not overwhelming

Taste : flavor is very solid. Lots of yummy hop bitterness that really lingers. Not much sweetness detected

Mouthfeel : medium body brew that has a pleasant dry finish

Overall : I was pleasantly surprised by this brew. Very good beer that is well done
