Dedicated to DIY. Drink Beer. Build Skateparks. This beer was born from a dream. A dream to renovate our hometown skatepark in Newport, Oregon to give our community a safe and clean place to skate. The incredible people at Dreamland Skateparks helped make our dream a reality, and through them we want to help others realize theirs... So we brewed Dreamland American Lager, a simple crisp lager from which a portion of the proceeds will go toward building skateparks around the world. Welcome to Dreamland.

Copenhagen 24/5 2021. 35,5 cl can from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Young guy on skateboard rolling through a dreamland populated by fish, dinosaurs and a cement mixer. We all have different dreams.
Pours clear yellow with a small white and bubbly head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor in dominance. Sweet pale malts and sweet corn. Lighter notes of fresh grass and citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and lingers shortly. Finish is sweetish and watery.
Refreshing but not very interesting.

Rated 6-3-2020. Pours a golden color with a medium head. Taste and aroma are standard APL. Another standard Lager. I thought it might be special as they were doing this for a cause. A little bready sweetness on the malts and a good balance on the hops. 14 IBUs

Originally in a 19.2 fluid ounce can, its contents now briefly can be found inside a clear glass liter mug. There's an abundance of stark white foam on top of a honey-amber beer that's fairly bright and translucent. It brings the aroma of a typical lager, with some malt that's not overly roasted and some hops that aren't overly bitter. It drinks just like a typical lager, modest in the malt delivery and bitter only to a novice beer drinker. Really the epitome of a standard lager, there's nothing off-putting about the taste, nor mouthfeel. But, it's just a standard lager, so there's not enough presence of the malt to make it earthy or complexly sweet. There's even less bitterness from the hops to provide any bite, nor dry out the finish. Sure, it's drinkable, but it's not remarkable in any way and probably won't be memorable. There's even a little less glass lacing than many commercial American lagers. Maybe those that use the skatepark in Newport will find more to like.

Look: Pours a slightly hazy, off yellow color with a rocky white head of foam. Leaves no lacing, below average head retention.
Aroma: Almost non-existent. Just the faintest smell of dried hay and red apple or pear.
Taste: Unoffensive but non-descript. Very mild and plain. Some sweet pear, a touch of bready malt. That's about it.
Feel: Probably the best part of the beer. What you would expect from a lager, but that isn't saying much.
Overall: I really hate to be so harsh, I really do, but I was extremely disappointed with this. Not really sure what the hype is around Rogue beers. Whether it's their ipas, their stouts, pumpkin beers or lagers. . . they never impress me. I've tried, and tried again to give them another shot but I've always found Rogue's offerings to be insipid and bland (and very overpriced) to be brutally honest. This beer isn't "bad" or offensive to the palate . . . but honestly, I would never recommend this.
On a side note, I'm still glad that the proceeds from this beer go towards giving kids a safe place to skateboard and have fun. At least there's a silver lining.

Pours a clear light yellow with a finger of head that quickly settles to a thin cap with scant lacing. Smells like a light lager...taste a little bread cracker... not my cup of tea...

Way underrated here on BA, in my opinion. It's a standout lager remarkable for its silky smoothness and absence of any bitterness. Mine had a nice frothy head & pleasant yet on the mild-side aroma. If you're a lager fan, this is honestly about as good as it gets.
