Had this on tap at The Blue Canoe, Tupelo MS

I have had this before in a bomber and did not like it, after having it today, I've decided the bomber was old ( I don't remember checking)

Pours a cloudy yellow, no head but I blame that on the tap system, they can't even put a head on a Hoegaarden. My rating on the mouthfeel is influenced by this too.

Smell was ok'ish, faint smell of oranges and honey, hard to tell really with the strong smell of the kitchen going on, given that I could still smell it, I'd give them an 4.0. Liked what I got out of it a lot.
Taste was nice, the honey hit as a delicious aftertaste, almost like Honey Smacks cereal, it's what I love the most about this brew. Not much orange going on other then the smell.

Overal I'm really glad I retried this, at $2 a pint it's a very great 90degree weather buy. If I can find another fresh bomber I'd try it again, but since it seems to be a retired beer, there's not much chance of that happening.

Appearance - Nice 3 finger head, white, fluffy, lacing, cloudy, hard to tell if carb

Smell - Honey, Orange, zest, earthy,

Taste - Simple, smooth, not much orange or zest

Mouthfeel - Little bitterness, good volume

Overall - I truly enjoyed this beer and thought it would make an amazing session beer. Drove all over Ottawa, in a hail storm and lights down to make sure SpinRSX and I had a good beer sampling evening!

I tried this on a hot summer day in Miami. AC was broken, a terrible thing in this climate, and it was very refreshing.

It poured a cloudy orange color with a thick white head. Minimal lacing but it already looked like it would quench the summer heat.

Smell is sweet like honey, a cross between a blonde ale and a Belgian wit, full of light citrus notes. A soothing aroma.

Honey was the star in the beer. It served as a canvas for all of the other ingredients. Obviously the orange citrus flavor was a key player, with little enthusiasm from the malt or hops. A rounded beer.

Almost felt like I was drinking a juice with some pulp.

Having said that, it does the job. Not a beer to blow your mind. But I was quite stressed when I popped this open and I enjoyed the first sip enough that it calmed me. Truly a soothing, summer beer.

A- Hazy golden orange color with a white frothy head.

S- Sweet, spicy and citrus aroma.

T- Refreshing, light bodied and very carbonated overall. It tastes what it smells like, honey, coriander and orange peel.

Food Pairing- Grilled chicken, spicy chicken sausage, and fish with a mango salsa on top.

Bought at the LCBO, Sept 2011...

Golden beer with a light limpid color with a shy head.

Smell of honey, coriander, spices, oranges and hops, not all in that order.

Taste was pretty light and smooth, but very carbonated in mouth to a certain displeasure, honey was there first followed by zests of oranges and the spices which ended up with a fruity hoppy finish. A good summer session beer.

I bought a single 1PT. 6 FL. OZ. bottle of this from Woodman's in Rockford, IL in late 2010 for $5.89

Pours a semi-cloudy golden yellow color with a nice head of foam but is quickly gone. The scent is full of wheats and citrus fruits. The sweet smell of the oranges make for a desirable want to taste. There's a nice orange and honey taste to this beer. It's rather thin in texture and makes for a quick drink. No bad by any means but could definetly use some improvement for a bolder taste and texture. Great craft choice for a hot summer day!

Swirl poured from a bomber into a glass mug. Very cloudy dirty apricot with a one finger bubbly head which soon disappeared. No lacing.

Lots of fruit in the nose. Orange and a bit spicy. A nice balance of sweetish light fruit with a slight hop bite at the end.

Basically light in body with light carbonation. The sweetness bulks it up a bit. I could use a bit more carbonation.. It is pretty drinkable. A little sweet for a long session

Poured from a bottle.

Appearance - Almost 3 fingers head, lasted long time. Very light, yellow color (light gold).

Smell - Very faint fragrance, yeasty. Aroma has citrus fruit, hardly any hop smells (unless it is the citrus).

Taste - Light, low taste. Citrus/flower type taste. Not a whole lot going on to me.

Mouthfeel - Hardly any mouthfeel at all. Low carbonation. A small tingle on the tongue.

Drinkability - Due to its "flat" kind of nature, I could see myself drinking a few. However, it is not a beer that I would drink a lot of since there is hardly any taste at all. For a APA, it is weak.

Bottle from the Rogue brewery feature at the LCBO.

A - Pours a very cloudy medium orange or golden kinda colour. Strong carbonation. One finger fluffy white head. Great retention with a half finger remaining and a slight amount of lacing.

S - Wheat and yeast mostly with grassy hop and floral notes. Not overly interesting.

T - Mild and smooth. Wheat and honey with some gentle spice or floral notes and some orange.

M - Good strong carbonation with a medium body and a nice floral/honey finish.

O/D - Not a bad beer by any means but not overly complex. Good for what it is and for the style, just not something to keep you really interested and stimulated. But granted, it tastes good and is really refreshing.

A - half finger head poured from a bomber into a wine glass - the consistency of cider - dark orange color with little head rention and no lacing

S - wheat orange honey coriander

T - sweet grainy malt - orange with some honey especially as it warmed, giving it an interesting although not spectacular complexity - spicy coriander - tea

M - light medium body with decent carbonation not overly bitter

O - like the other Rogue offering I have sampled a very interesting brew which I can not quite figure out - I like it!! Interesting is good!!
