Ok so a different beer, not my favorite Rogue offering to date but a worthy one.
Appearance was rather bland to me which is kind of odd for this brewery.
Smell was really faint, but some notable hops and the spice comes through as the beer warms.
Taste is far more pronounced with more malt than anything coming through. Some high quality hops are also present.
Mouthfeel is good, oily on the tounge.
Drinkability is near perfect.

12oz bottle into pint.
A: Deep yellow to a gold body color, with a fluffy white head that settles with sticky lacing. Good levels of carbonation.
S: The aroma shows a pilsnerlt and a bit of a grassy note. Medium intensity on the aroma.
T/M: The Upfront flavors are of a light ale, but the juicy body does not hold up through the finish, the berries give off a strange moab taste. The berries show me a bit of an off putting usage, a dry medicinal note.
D: I do not think that this would beer I would drink again. Enjoyed about the whole glass and thats a fine taste for me.

Poured into a pint glass.

A: Clear golden yellow with two-finger, white, creamy head that lasted a few minutes. Nice lacing.

S: Faint toasted malt, not much else.

T: Light sweetness and moderate bitterness. Nice toasted malt flavor with some bitter hops.

M: Medium bodied with fizzy carbonation. Crisp and refreshing.

O: Nothing special about this beer.

A: Hazy honey color topped by a white head made of medium sized bubbles.

S: I can smell the juniper in this beer, which is interesting because I didn't know what to expect. I also get a slightly sweet bread aroma.

T: I can taste the juniper more than I can smell it. It has a slightly spicy flavor to it, along with that bready note I got from the smell. The finish carries the juniper. The bitterness is strange; it's not bitter at all, so the Juniper does balance out the sweet malt. Its a tad different.

M: Surprisingly smooth, but it is somewhat thin. Light bodied, but well carbonated.

D: Its quite drinkable, but would I actually want another? Well, it's better than a lot of other choices.

Pours a dark clear golden, with a mountainous, foamy, retentive head.

Aroma is mostly citric hops with a lesser sourdough note.

Having never met a juniper berry outside this beer, I'll have to take the bottle's word for their inclusion. Taste is slightly peppery, sourdough again from the malt, mild grapefruit and an evergreen-type flavor I can only assume comes from the juniper berry. Not resinous like wildly hopped brews, more of a pine-needle sensation. Finishes dry and bready.

Slightly thinner bodied than I had hoped, however this would make a good "left-field" session beer just because it's a unique concoction.

Great head, gold color about twice as dark as MGD, great lacing.

Smell is all basic two row malt. Where are the hops...

Lot of honey, a little bitter, very sweet almost makes it seem like it's under-attenuated.

Surprisingly thick and creamy mouthfeel, perfect carbonation.

This stuff would be great to bring along on any summer outing.

Saffron colour with no head. A ring of lace settles where the beer sets for a little while. Despite that, no lace at all. Smells of malt, gin, dry hops and cigar leafs. Is tobacco brewed in this beer? Tastes okay. Earthy, tobacco and gin taste mellowed out by a sweet malt character. Mouthfeel is a little too astringent. This was my first beer from Rogue. I was disappointed. It's actually a bit of a bland beer. Personally, I find very little to write about it. Yeah, it was drinkable. But this is one beer I won't be purchasing. Hopefully, my next Rogue experience will be a much more pleasing one.

Good dark yellow color with a solid head with nice lacing left. Smell is much that of a usual pale ale nice crisp sweet malt with pleny of hop tones these being more of a piney and floral variety. The taste doesn't really hold any of the juniper berry qualities too strongly, if I wasn't really looking for it I might have missed it and dismissed it as hops. I would have liked it a little stronger to really display the juniper flavor. It has a good body and it is a very drinkable pale ale, I just wish they would take the bolder step and really go with the juniper.

Brown bomber with pry-off cap poured in a nonic pint glass.

Hazy, golden yellow in colour. White head is 1/2 inch on the pour and recedes to a thin cap with lots of lacing down the sides.

Aroma is mainly citrus (lemony) and herbal.

Flavour is pretty much the same as the aroma. Citrus, herbal, lemony with hints of malt.

Easy drinking and goes down smooth. Not overly bitter or hoppy. Medium bodied and moderately carbonated.

A really nice pale ale. Not overly complicated but well balanced and smooth. Drinkability is off the scale.

12oz bottle, Ommegang tulip, thanks Rogue, no freshness dating on the bottle. I have had it for at least a month in the fridge, so it's not super fresh.

Clear, light end of gold beer with a very lovely white, rocky head. Lots of it on the pour, nice retention, lacing, and clumpiness.

I'm definitely thinking this is not too fresh judging by the aroma, or lack thereof. The hops seem to have mostly disappeared. There's a solid pale malt base, nice graininess, and a subtle, cooling herbal note. I'm really digging at the moment, but it's not like a fresh pale ale. Oh, and of course the Pacman yeast.

The taste is essentially as I described the aroma. The evergreen, cool herb is perhaps more distinct and the grainy malt is very hearty.

Nice, medium weight in the mouth. Despite the head, the carbonation is medium-low.

I don't feel like this is an ideally fresh sample, but I know it has been treated well (refrigerated). The Juniper isn't overwhelming at all, in fact, it seems barely there to me, but it's nice.

Bomber poured into an imperial pint glass.

A-A slightly hazy golden beer, topped with a bright white, fluffy head, decent retention.

S-Subtle floral hoppiness with some spicy juniper character over a sweet maltiness.

T-A light, malty foundation is balanced by moderate hop bitterness and a bit of floral hop and juniper. Aftertaste is subtly of juniper berries.

M-Light body with a low carbonation, perhaps a bit too low for style.

D-The juniper is subtle enough that it melds enjoyably into the beer's flavor, instead of overwhelming and drowning out the beer character. Overall, a good, not great, brew.

Smells like a pale ale should, with some slight smell of spices. Pours a golden and slightly cloudy color with a good amount of head. Oddly it tastes a bit watered down to me at times (perhaps because it is extremely smooth?) but I could be crazy. Ends with a very slight bitter taste. I find it hard to taste the spices that I can smell. I do however taste and smell a bit of honey. I have no idea what Juniper tastes like, but apparently it's in this beer.

Pours gold, not really yellow, with spicy and toasty hop aroma. Fairly light bodied with some great zesty hop flavors, spread on top of a toasty malt backdrop. The finish is crisp, almost sweet, with residual light spiciness of hops. This is a good lighter pale ale, but I fail to detect the presence of the juniper berries listed as an ingredient on the bottle. This beer should be a little more complex given all the ingredients silk-screened on the side of the bottle. Still a good beer, though.

A - A very light crisp golden color. Not as much saffron as the bottle says.

S - Smells a lot like an English pale ale can't smell the juniper over the amarillo hops.

T- Very nice and refreshing. On the light side of pale ales. Juniper upfront with hops as a very nice finisher.

M - Light with a little cream.

D - Very refreshing. A good summer or spring beer. Not so much winter ale.
