I don't see any bottle date but at the bottom there is a number stating "1501300315"

Appearance: The body is a dark mahogany brown with very good transparency. The head is a creamy texture with an eggshell white color and a short stature. Not much head retention and no real lacing.

Aroma: There is a very light sulfur aroma intermixed with clove. The aroma feels very weak.

Taste: I get a very light bit of woody character mixed with some watered down cinnamon. Very light flavors.

Mouthfeel: The body is light. This beer doesn't need much of a body to carry the light flavors and aromas it provides but it still feels too light. It feels watered down.

Overall: If you are looking at a beer that hints towards pumpkin beer flavors but doesn't fully commit then this is your beer. If you are the type of person who wants your pumpkin beers to be a full-on experience then this will likely be a letdown. I wouldn't buy it again and I wouldn't recommend it. The beer is just too weak. If you really need to get a pumpkin beer and nothing else is around this is a drinkable and mildly enjoyable beer but the whole time you will probably be thinking about some other beer you wish you had.

This beer doesn't taste like a pumpkin beer so much as it does an Oktoberfest kind of beer. It's very autumnal and a little spicy, which is nice, but I don't get much by way of pumpkins. Still very enjoyable and very smooth.

From a 750 ml bottle, this brew is a clear, chestnut color without a head at all. Plenty of carbonation, but no head. The smell is one of the better pumpkin beers that I've had in a while....the blend of spice to malt, with just a little vegetable pumpkin presence, is excellent. Flavorful, malty, balanced...ginger and nutmeg are notable, caramelized sugar...pumpkin pie. The body is full, but not thick. This is a very well made pumpkin brew.

I like Rogue offerings in general, and they have had a number of pumpkin offerings. Maybe they are searching for perfection here. This one was one of the better pumpkin beers I've had. Nose is more pumpkin than pumpkin spice, taste follows. Throw more pumpkin spice in and sweeten it and it could be really good for those like me seeking pumpkin pie in a bottle.

Dark Orange, clear appearance. Aroma is Pumpkin, Sweet Potato, Taste is Pumpkin, Chalk, Formaldehyde. Thin feel, no carbonation. A- This pours a dark copper/brown color that is modestly hazy from the usage of yeast and pumpkin. The head is not overly there, but it is a small patchwork of thin film over the beer itself...it is white in color. Carbonation is medium in appearance...fine bubbles and plentiful....as far as lacing is concerned, it is wonderful, as there are plenty of small foamy circles clinging to the side of the glass...the texture of the beer looks slightly oily. Very nice overall!

S- Heavy pumpkin pie aromas, with muted notes of ginger snap cookie. Lots of baking spice is incorporated....hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger are the heaviest for sure, with malted grain/caramel brown sugar sweetness, fresh pumpkin and with accents of hoppy bitterness right on the finish.

T- The flavors follow the aromas closely albeit they are more muted than I would have expected! There is less ginger and more vanilla, and the cinnamon provides just an ever so slight tickle on the tongue and back of the throat...very nice! The pumpkin is natural and fresh in the middle and the finish is slightly bitter, and slightly of pie spice. It is rather nice!

M/O- Light to medium in body and the carbonation is tight, but zingy on the palate, this resembles a heavily spiced pumpkin dessert, and isn't overly sweet...something I really like about this! It is highly drinkable and I could easily put a couple of these bottles away in a sitting....I suppose it could get a little warm over time in terms of spice, as I'm experiencing on my lips.....love the character of the beer while burping. I highly recommend this one as it's much different than a lot of other pumpkin ales I've had!
