750ml bottle. Pours a dark rusty orange amber with a small beige head. Aroma is of sweet pumpkin spices, nutmeg and some malt. Taste same as aroma, but not overly sweet or cloying like other pumpkin ales, a bit of cooked vegetable flavor and mild caramel malt undertones with some mild bitterness, Palate is a medium body, good carbonation, sweet and very palatable brew. Finishes with sweet pumpkin spices, nutmeg, some cooked vegetable notes, mild caramel malt and some bitterness on the end for balance. Could have used a bit more pumpkin spice. Overall this is a good, easy drinking, and unassumingly nicely balanced brew.

Poured from a Bomber into a pint glass. Pumpkin beer is one of my favorite styles of beer. This brew has a great pumpkin aroma and flavor. A well balanced blend of pumpkin and hops. I look forward to the autumn just for this beer.

Pours a bronze colour, quite pale on the edge. Lovely steady carbonation up the sides. Head is off-white, dense, retaining well. Looks nice.

Smells like a gruit. Lots of aniseed, clove, slightly tart with a touch of pepper. Light caramel malt as well. Yeah, interesting but I don't love it.

Cinnamon upfront on the palate and then all-spice all the way through. Big spice mix and Chinese medicine shop character, with some floral notes, aniseed and a decent burnt caramel undertone. Decent flavours: plenty of spice without strangling it.

Gets a little prickly midway. A touch on the thin side, but OK.

Interesting beer, but I can't say I'd trample my mother to death to get another glass.
