Enjoyed from the 22 oz bomber in a snifter. This crushable Kolsch pours a
lightly chill hazed yellow tinged light amber with a nice head of white foam that
subsides to a thick ring, thin pool, and showcases some nice light lacing. Nose of
rich sweet honey, light floral notes, subtle grain notes, and herbal as well as floral
hop notes. Flavors showcase some of the best of the style I have ever had with
rich sweet clover honey awash in light grain and subtle breaded notes and finishing
with a light herbal hop flavor. Very nice mouth feel; medium light body, medium high
carbonation, and a honey tinged lightly dry finish.

Overall, one of the best if not the best of this style I have ever had. Fantastic!

Cheers to Rogue and their busy little bees!

Pours a clear straw yellow. Honey, wheat, & popcorn. Lots of honey and wheat without to much sweetness with some dry biscuit flavor. Medium bodied, very clean and crisp.

Adding almost anything besides honey to a kolsch is blasphemous but honey is ok!

It looks like the somewhat flat beer it is, but it deserves the odd presentation as the taste is out there too. It shows signs of the honey somewhere but it has this big balanced beer taste under that. It is a very pleasant beer, but I am afraid it might not be travelling well in the bottles. Cans would be nice for this.

Recommended for when you are tired of ales.

I like this beer, not being a fan of most Rogue Beers, This one is just so light and nice.
It comes with nice art on the front too.

Pours a gorgeous amber yellow, really nice to look at.
Head was minimal, and thin for me

Nose is mostly light, sweet malts..wheat... soft and not much, but pleasant.

On the palate, it is really light and very drinkable.
Just how a refreshing Kolsch beer should be.

But then the fun starts, and half way through and all the way to the finish, you get this huge clean shift into pure blissful honey.

Really enjoyable beer. Especially when had on a hot day, ice cold.
I only picked up one, might have to go back and get a 6 though!

Fun Note:
..any excess gas that comes back up, naturally, tastes of honey. Like you just ate a bunch of honey.
Its an awesome effect.
...if you like honey

Pours golden yellow with decent haze, thick foam and sticky lacing. Smell is very light, honey, wheat, floral and hops. Taste is very good, sweet honey with maltiness, light hops notes, some floral tones. The feel is very light and clean, this is a real nice hot weather beer, totally refreshing but still good on flavors.

355ml bottle poured into a teku glass.

Hazy golden yellow color, it tops with a finger of foamy white head with decent retention. The head gradually sinks to some bubble sheet atop and leaves some patchy and spotty lace.

It is mainly malty dominated in the aroma, bread, dough, and some grain. Some grass too while honey follows at the tail with its modest sweetness.

Malt kicks off through the palate sensation with its bread, dough, and grassy grain while honey follows thereafter with moderate sweetness. The end and aftertaste is quite lasting with soft honey and bready malt yet very ghost-like hop bitterness in the background.

Light to medium body with good crisp and lively carbonation through the palate, quite smooth mouthfeel, refreshing, finish is dry.

Honey acts as a nice complement here but it is not that overwhelming being led and driven by rich malt bill.

good brew. the honey comes in a bit early for me giving it a mix signal of out of date malt or a beer that has been sitting for a while. but you realize this is a refreshing light lager tasting ale.
I could see this being my back up for light keep the palate clean kind of thing. I like this over budwesier. I know you frown at the mass produced but it is my go to here in the sticks before I start opening the hoppier stuff. makes the good beer last longer kind of thing.
A touch more hops on the end and this would be amazing. But then again it might take away from it and make another dry beer. Seek this out if you like light and balanced.
