Obvious summer session beer. Bright amber color with slight wisps of foam. The nose is too subtle for me which is supposed to have floral notes based on wildflower honey. Maybe I'm off today but it seems overall mild and inoffensive. The hops and malts cut the innate sweetness. (Nothing like the fruit bomb of my Voodoo Ranger review.) Slurping I do detect some honey taste. This beer goes to a lot of trouble to be this frankly innocuous. (If your think this review is tough, read some reviews of their Dead Guy Whiskey. To sum up, $50 down the drain. Worst whiskey reviews ever.)
You know expensive products get the Cadillac aura, they seem better because they're so darn expensive. Apparently not with this $50, yes $50, whiskey.
However, the beer may deserve another try.

Pint at the Westside Taphouse in West Salem Oregon.
$6.00
Pours a slightly hazed yellow body.
Nice sized smooth creamy white head.
Aroma mostly of light malts. Simple.
Taste very simplistic but really nice after a scorcher of a day. Malts, crackerish. And the honey is very well done. Naturally, not over sweet. Nice.
Lovely drinkable mouth feel.
A nice simple hot weather beer

L- Pours slightly hazy straw with little to no head into a 16 oz pint glass
S- Grain and yeast aroma upfront with slight neutral hop character
T- Mixture of floral and grain flavors with a slight tartness
F- Light bodied and pretty dry. Leaves a slight stickiness behind.
O- Drinkable but not outstanding. I probably would not buy this again for the price.

Pours a a clear, but just a little hazy, straw with some visible carbonation and a smallish head. Smell is light malt. A bit floral. Pleasant. Taste is sweet biscuity malt. Again a little floral. Quite pleasant again. Light bodied. It tastes like a good kolsch to me. Very solid for the style and a nice summer beer.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a bright golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of honey, biscuit malts. Taste is the same as the aroma, somewhat sweet. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a very easy drinking beer that I would like to try during the summer.

Tap at CopenRoss. Hazy golden pour with small tight, white head. Aroma is barely there, taste is light and bready, dry and chalky. Not enough hops to meet the badics style requirements

Poured translucent, unfiltered looking in a soft apricot color and capped with a nearly white foam head that leaves copious lacing.
Aroma for my damaged nose was faint honey and something else- floral maybe?
The taste is a very pleasant Kolsch flavor with a touch more honey than most. Very slight biscuit malts and hops bitterness.
The feel was excellent, had to slow down the quaffing to determine what I was tasting.
OA, glad I had an excuse to get this, it’s better than I thought it would be.
