They let you break 6-packs!!! They carry Smuttynose and some other craft brews wrth looking into. Selection is small, but the quality is pretty good. So I recommend you try teh store if your interested in sampling a variety of local beers. If the 6 pack isn't broken, just ask and they'll break one for you. The price after breaking is $1.30/bottle for Smuttynose, putting 6 packs at $8, just a tad high, but the convenience makes this reasonable.

I think all the beer is cold too (just 2 fridges), so that makes buying a single on the run a great plan and round the corner to a BYOB establishment and enjoy a cheap and tasty meal.

I stopped by here while in Coolidge Corner. I was not impressed by this store. There is a minimal selection of micros. There just isn't all that much space, the space isn't all that well-selected, either. It includes Ipswich, Anchor, SN, SA, Harpoon, and Otter Creek. The bombers include Rogue, Chimay, and little else. The prices are pretty high.

A note about the service: When I was looking at the beer selection, whoever was behind the counter hollered "you looking for something?" I looked over at him, and said "no, thanks" and he looked at me like I was from Mars. Apparently, he was yelling at the older guy browsing for wine.
