Great clarity. Copper colour with good lacing.

Nice, rich, spicy and fruity hop aroma.

Nice big (for the style) hop flavour with a soft creamy malt to balance it out. Full flavoured yet subtle.

Medium-light body with low carbonation. Smooth and delicious.

This is a great session beer. Plenty of flavour but light on the alcohol. Very easy to drink.

On Cask at Eureka's in Dunedin. Pours hazy straw gold with a beautiful creamy pure white head. Nelson sauvin hops driven aroma of citrus, white grape and flowers. Just a hint of butter hiding in there as well. Taste is very fresh floral hops, lemon and a little peach with mild nutty malt base. Subtle bitter finish that lingers quite some time. Light/thin creamy mouthfeel along the lines of unsweetened fresh whipped cream. I think if the mouthfeel was more champagne effervescent and less whipped cream it would be darn near perfect. Then again maybe that would ruin everything. Anyways, realizing that this is a 3.7% bitter and not a 10% RIS/DIPA (and scoring as such) this is about as good as beer can get at the session level in my opinion. Would have drank the whole cask if I could.
