Poorly crafted and not very tasty, but you can drink it out of the can for cheep at some places in rural NY.

This one should be enjoyed straight out of the can. When poured, the look is orange and murky - not unappealing but it is a red-herring. The beer tastes nothing like the look of it.

Smells of grain, grass, and ginger.

The taste is malty, biscuity, with that slight sharpness from the ginger. Delicious.

Mouth feel is nice: well-rounded carbonation and lacing - not too light and not too heavy. Very crushable.

My dad has a go-to beer. My grandpa had one. His before him surely did as well.

This is mine.

From the can, it pours a hazy orangey amber with a large head that slowly shrinks. Lacing. Scent is possibly ginger and a bit of malt. First sensation in taste was one of water, followed by a bit of malt. Decent summer beer.

This is an almost great example of what I like to call a "pounder" beer...

Decent coloration and decent odor in the nose though a bit more carbonated than I prefer. What surprised me was its taste - malty, the most distant hints of sweetness, and an intangible quality of being a beer I could just pound one after the other. Too bad I only had one on hand...

Pours a slightly hazy golden amber color with tons of visible carbonation. Topped by just about a finger of loose crackling bone colored head.

Smell is slightly bready and malty while picking up on some hops.

Taste is slightly hoppy with a nice malt backbone.

Mouth is very light with a crisp dry finish.

This is a decent beer with some cool can art that drew me to the beer. The can is odd in that it says pale ale, farmhouse ale and ale brewed with ginger. Seems as if they are having some difficulty with thier own beer in attempting to identify it. Also of note is that "brewd with ginger" thing on the can, no ginger was picked up at all in this beer. So overal,l I did it and now I am moving on.
