another underrated mikkeller beer here, maybe its just me, but i cant get enough of this guys beers, they all offer something just not available from other brewers. i think this score is way low, considering the series on the whole, and what the rhubarb clearly adds to this. its haze and thick and heady, but only a little pink. not as vibrantly colored as expected. the nose is really tart, thin almost acrid acidity in there, with the belgian side of the wild we love from the base beer. brett all over the shop too. the flavor has a good mix of the multiple rhubarb elements. i definitely get the leafy green almost spinach tasting tops, while the tart celery textured stems are there of course as well. its a nice addition to the brett, making it puckery without the bacteria normally present in sourer beers. carbonation is awesome, but the body seems almost thin compared to the others for whatever reason. it also gets just a little weird in the belly, like too much fresh raw juice, and a bottle to share was about the right dose. i cant help but admire and respect these beers, what a cool series, i hope more come out!

This poured a lightly pink –golden color.
From the first whiff you can smell the rhubarb on the beer. The taste has a more pronounced rhubarb character to it, matched with a touch of zest and a hint of funk. It’s delicate and light, with an underlying touch of strawberry rounding it out and a pleasingly tart finish.
