Best Mikkeller IPA I've tasted so far, the Prairie combo team definitely helped this effort. Brewed at De Proef in Belgium two sets of gypsies met, and I'm guessing the guys from Prairie provided the hops at this brew session, which include nugget, citra, centennial, Columbus, and saaz. With the kicker that probably inhibits this one from being an incredible IPA...the brettanomyces. Glowing orange amber beautiful looking IPA, fine off white cream colored head. Very enjoyable big bottled IPA. Citrus, herbal notes, tropical fruit (mangos/passionfruit/pineapple), really expressive hops, bready tart yeast components, the funky yeast is still young but there's hints of brett going on. Okay I had to have a 2nd bottle with a cleaner palate, and more of this to sample to really set a verdict on this one. I will say it's damn good, well made American Style IPA...I love the artwork inspired by the Boss. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with resinous hop oils coating the palate, carbonation is natural bottled conditioned with big brettanomyces hints of barnyard, band aid, earthy components. Overall, this is huge fun to drink IPA I'm excited to try more hoppy beers from Mikkeller and more beers in general from Prairie.

large bottle poured light amber with a decent head.
Sweet malty aroma is followed by a more balance and hoppy flavor. Largely an APA.
Somewhat thin body.
