The beer pours out a dark golden orange color, with 1 finger of white head------------ the aromas are of nectarines, peaches, apricots and citrus-------------- the flavors are of sour lemon, orange, grapefruit, sour nectarines, peach candy rings and black tea, the beer has a thin to medium mouthfeel with a light dry finish-------------- overall this beer was delicious, I was amazed at all the fruit flavors coming through and there was no fruit in the beer, I love hops

Have had this before but not reviewed it. Looking forward to seeing if anything has changed in my taste because I remember loving this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can into a wine glass.
Pours out almost perfect. A nice, clean looking beer. Golden in color and clear. One finger of perfect white crown.
The smell is heavy of pears and peach rings. A lot of light fruit. Floral notes as well.
The taste is almost the same except for the fact that the floral notes are more prominent than the peach and pear notes.
The mouthfeel is dry all the way through, even while still in the mouth. Let alone after. But good for the style.
Overall, it didn't disappoint this time around either. I really enjoy this beer and think it's a treat to have.

Thanks Chico.

A- Can into a snifter with a slightly hazy golden body and a thick frothy white head rising up to about an inch high. The cap falls to a wide belt around the edges. Lacing forms with wide sheets around the glass.

S- Sourness akin to a Berliner or Gose with bright Citra hops which are fruity and floral. Lime, lemon, grapefruit, sour candies and herbal hop notes. The sourness and citrus really combine to make those cheeks pucker upon a big sniff. Really like some intense sour candy ala smarties, in a good way; like underripe apricot sour stone fruits at times.

T- Follows up on what the aroma built very directly but here the bitterness really rounds things out and makes it more dimensional. The lime and citrus flavors really benefit from this added depth. Bright lactic acid and raw whole grain joins in with the grapefruit, lime, lemon, pineapple, dank, herbal and floral hop notes. Again the sour stone fruits come out.

MF- A light to medium body with a moderate level of carbonation. Tartness is rather strong and the texture of the beer is both creamy and foamy. Ends sour.

Sour citrus and fruits saturate the palate as lime and sour candies are very prevalent because of the combo of Citra and the lactic acid fermentation.

A: Poured into a tulip to a light gold topped by a dense two finger white head that fades quickly to a small mat and leaves minimal lacing
S: Smells of light sourness and juicy citrusy hops
T: Taste is a nice bright sourness with some nice citrusy hop notes with some nice grapefruit with the slightest hint of funk. Swallow is lingering light sourness with some nice juicy citrus notes with a little citrus rind.
M: This beer is on the lighter side of things with a pleasant level of effervescent carbonation which is slightly prickly and an oily yet slightly drying finish.
O: Overall a really nice dry hopped light sour ale. this is a great base beer that lends itself well to supporting other flavors. Very easy drinking and enjoyable and worth a try if you like dry hopped sours.

Can. I recklessly bought this thinking it was a Citra single hop brew. I am actually happy with my mistake. It smells tangy. Tangy is the alpha-word for this review. Musty, sharp grapefruit hop and funkified yeasts. The flavor is soulfully linked to a tart, tangy ruby red grapefruit sans sugar. I can go either way with grapefruit holistically but this one wears the suit well. Cool beer. Pairs well with Birnam Wood-Two Ravens.

From the can in dtla into their tulip
Clean yet deep amber color is quite striking
Sour nose, grassy peaty mildew but w a hint of honey
Tastes like effervescent sour/red apple, unripe honeydew and dry hoped finish.
Enjoyable farmhouse, not an ipa in case there was any doubt from the name.

11.2 oz bottle poured into an Ourison glass

A- A clear golden amber with a two finger white head.

S- Sour, citrus, tropical fruits, pineapple, tons of citra goodness, some peaches, a little funky, oak.

T- Sour lemons, some tropical fruits, citrus, touch of cereal grains, touch of oak and funk, earthy almost dank finish, some herbal tea.

M- Smooth, dry, crisp, light body

O- A solid dry hopped sour, just wish you could taste the citra more. The base is a solid sour, can't wait to try the other hop versions of this.
