Pours a deep brownish black from the bottle with a foamy brown head that last some time. Lots of lacing. The aroma is of coffee, chocolate and dark fruits. It tastes exactly as it smells: coffee, chocolate, plum and raisins. It's really boozy and nicely bitter. Oily mouth. This is both complex and straightforward, and a great coffee stout.

Pours a rolling, incredibly thick dark brown head, with fantastic retention, huge body and fluffiness, and thick, nice lacing that clings to the glass. Multiple pours to get it all into one glass. Brew is super dark brown if not black, like a dark nut or wood, and completely opaque.

First impression of the aroma is a grape-tinged booziness, but that gives way to a creamy, smooth, chocolate-and-roast-coffee themed barley brew.

Flavor follows the nose, yet is entirely surprising! A tiny, tiny bit of fruity tartness hits the tongue first, followed by thick barley notes, a huge wave of smooth chocolate, and then a finish of black roasted coffee and berries. That's off of a single sip; unbelievable combination of flavors. Other notes: cream, dark cacao, and again with fruity berries. The coffee notes are firmly in the background, and adding bitterness at the end (as roasted barley).

Nice thick and creamy feel; chewy. Nice sting if you chew on it for a while, which also gives the impression that you're munching on a bar of super dark chocolate. A little earthy bitterness lingers as an aftertaste; not entirely pleasant, but not exactly bad, either.

Wow, this is one impressive beer. A very interesting showcase of flavors, mostly the same ones you'd expect in any coffee stout, but in different proportions, and highlighted in different ways. Great mouthfeel. Brunch Weasel or not, this could easily be a dessert by itself.

Pours like well used motor oil, thick & black with a pinky of caramel colored head. Alright lacing & head retention, nice viscious look to this...

S: Coffee & a bit of vanilla, a bit of raw boozeyness once warm

T: Coffee, roastyness, dark chocolate & caramel up front. More caramel, & roastyness once warm, coffee fades a bit & a faint booze bite presents itself. Finishes dry, roasty, with dark chocolate & caramel

MF: Thick, chewy, smooth, some warming notes

Drinks easy, very well put together, the only drawback on this: Price. I can do almost as good for the money & end up with way more beer in most coffee beers of this ilk. Glad I got to try it though

A- Pours pitch black with a three finger mocha head that leaves intricate foamy lacing.

S-Well there is no shit smell. All jokes aside, roasted chocolate malts and bitter coffee goodness.

T- No shit taste. Rich chocolate backbone with a background coffee presence that is unmatched by similar styles. I can taste some sweetness from the oats as well, and the 10.9% abv is hidden well behind the complex accumulation of flavors.

M-The oats lend a creaminess that makes the mouthfeel very full bodied. Carbonation is subtle and spot on for this syle.

O- This is one of my favorite beers. I was hesitant when I heard "weasel poo coffee" from the liquor store sales associate. I was blown away by the complexity of the taste and smell on this brew. Happy as could be with this wonderful Mikkeller creation, a must try for curious stout drinkers.
