A- Poured from a 12oz bottle into my DFH snifter... starts with a finger thick head that disappears pretty quickly. Beer is a dark murky amber color with some light activity
S- First wiff gives a grapefruit aroma with some malt sweetness... After some swirls of the snifter, it loses all hints of sweetness and just gives of a skunky(in a good way), citrusy, hop aroma
T- Kind of odd actually. Has a wonderful nothing but hop flavor, yet it's not an intense hoppyness. It doesn't have that mouth puckering bitterness to it
M- Medium body with light/medium carbonation. Leaves nice hoppy aftertaste clinging to your mouth
D- Very tasty and definitely worth a try, though I think I can find some other DIPA's that compare and are cheaper than $6.50
CHEERS!!

A glowing orange pour, this looked sexy. 1/3" white head. Aroma drops all kinds of hops, mint, pine, citrus, grapefruit, caramel.
Taste, super bitter, is this 100ibu territory? Probably. A lot of different hop bitterness and flavors still going on. Plenty of crystal malt on this one. Wish I could try this with less age on it but it comes from halfway around the world I think.
Its good, but the price is such that I doubt I will be making a return voyage to this. Hides the alcohol well.

Dark apricot colored pour with a minimal off-white head. Strong hoppy smell with a hint of booze. Taste is syrupy with resin and tropical fruit upfront. Also has a slightly sweet edge with a caramel flavor that carries through to the finish, along w/ the boozy flavor.

I don't know if I got an old bottle or what, but this seems to be a recurring theme for mikkeller IPAs that I buy. More malt than hops. I love most of their stuff. This is A decent beer still but would like to try it fresh.

This must have been old because it was a lot maltier than it should have been.
