Reviewed from session notes.

Poured out a clouded coppery brown color with a stunty off-white foamy head that lasts for a minute or two, minimal lacing left behind on the glass surface.

Smells and tastes the same : Psuedo-Barleywine. By which I mean a rich caramel / toffee sweetness that plays with an intense herbal / floral / grapefruit peel and pine resin spectrum with a side dish of medium levels of dankness and onion / garlic hotness. Boozey alcohol does rear up somewhat but only in the finish for me, and only once the glass has warmed up. This booziness seems to be what helps the hops hammer the finish down into dryness.

Heavier side of medium thickness, lightly carbonated, somewhat sluggish on the tongue.

It's pretty damn good, but I've had just as good for a more reasonable pricepoint. So, once is enough for me.

On tap at Whole foods.

Brushed bronze body. Presented with a very scant, light tan head.

Aromas of every hop aroma imaginable. Citrus, tropical fruit, spice, pine and everything in between. Onions and some caramel. If you wanted hop essence Ina jar, this is it.

Wow. I have never had a beer that went from biscuity, caramel malts to floral hops, to citrus, to pine, to onion, to bitter as hell in a single sip.

Wow, again. Super complex, as far as hops go. So many flavors. Definitely need to be a hop fan for this, but if you are, you won't be disappointed.
