it poured a hazy golden colour with about a 2 and a half finger head that left pretty decent lacing. it has a very floral or fruity smell to it with a small presence of alcohol. the taste has lots of floral and fruity accents with a little bit of some biscuity malts with a fairly dry finish almost like a white wine. it was fairly carbonated and pretty light mouthfeel and surprisingly refreshing considering its 9% abv.

375ml. It's Alive, original info, is an ALL TIME FAVORITE.,.... 4.75 out of 5. I think. It fuuu cking rucks. This one? Unproven... but I am hopeful.

Into stella glass. Best I could muster up.. a bit out of my element.

A- Darker than I remember the original, big snowy head on this. prangey copper yellow.

S- smells like happiness. Brett, flowers, glowing good times. I want to freeze this beer int he winter and skate on it. Then unfreeze it in the springtime and drink it.

T- UM, THIS BEER IS EXACTLY WHAT I HOPED / WANTED.

all the goodness of it's alive! meets white wine barrel. Strong brett, lotsa golden ale goodness. Floral sweetness, honeysuckle. White wine tannins and tartness in the finish. OHMYGOD AWESOME.

M- Crisp, sweet, dry, zippy, mild for the ABV, full-bodied.

O- RARELY DO I SAY IT BUT WOW. this beer had high expectations. They were exceeded. I love It's Alive, and this is a nice twist on it.

gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme more now now now now gimme it pour it down my face hole omg gimme more.

This beer r0xxx.

PS- this is one of the worst reviews I;ve ever written, but I like this beer, so get bent.

375ml bottle, more Danish-only beyond the big titular banner name.

This beer pours a cloudy brownish orange hue, with a tonne (we're all a l'il Euro with this one here folks...) of dense foamy, rocky off-white head, which leaves a full circumference of chunky lace around the glass as it surreptitiously recedes. It smells of tart lemon and cherry juice, pale malt, and funky barnyard yeast. The taste is semi-sweet malt, neutered sour fruit (at least in comparison to the nose), and musty, funky yeast. The carbonation is moderate, the body medium weight, and smooth enough to withstand appeal. It finishes with a blend of sweet nondescript malt, and tart aforementioned yeast.

An interesting offering, one which emulates the Cantillons of the world well enough, at least at first. The comparison drops off quickly, though, leaving us with a more temperate wild ale. I guess this is what makes this an American version of the wild yeast lottery. Overall, still genuinely drinkable, as the well-elevated booze is pretty much invisible to this drinker.

Very disappointing beer. Pretty off-putting smell. Very funky with really weird notes. Taste was even worse. It wasn’t sour as expected and had some really gross rotten vegetable taste. Alcohol was also pretty evident. Maybe I had a bad bottle.

A: The beer is hazy light amber in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high beige head that has good retention properties and consistently left a thin head covering the surface.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of sourness and funk are present in the nose.
T: The overall taste is a little sour and funky and has strong notes of white wine flavors from the barrel aging. Hints of oak are also perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I thought that this beer has a really nice balance between sourness and the white wine flavors.

Thanks to John the agent for the sample. Comes in a green 375 ml bottle. Pours out a deep cloudy amber hue, thick creamy beige head with good retention.

Sharp, tangy yeast on the nose, some wood, mild toasty malt, mild citrus.

Toasty, nutty malt, sharp yeast character, white raisins, citrus zest, some woody notes near the finish, mild spice.

Medium-bodied mouthfeel, smooth texture with a dry character, moderately brisk carbonation.

The barrel aging is subtle for this version of It's Alive, adds a bit more alcohol warmth and some extra nuance. Worth checking out, however one is more than enough for me.

On tap at Congregation LB.

A: Pours a hazy dark orange with a wispy thin white head which fades to the rim and small cap leaving trace lace.

N: Vinous, funky barnyard, grassy sweetness, wood, citrus, floral and fruit.

T: White grapes, some barrel wood notes, brett funk, mild citrus and barnyard must.

M: Medium body and light carbonation. Dry brett on finish.

O: Nice, especially the funk and wine character.

Bottle from wordemupg, 375ml into a tulip. Holdbar til 08/11/18.

Poured without the yeast, clear orange with a couple fingers of offwhite head. Good retention and good lacing. Nose is spicy, dillweed, floral, funky. Some gentle fruit notes over a nice sweet BSPA-like malt character. Funky in taste, some herbal, musty character. Pale malts, spice and a light sweetness in the finish. Drying, medium full feel and bubbly texture in the finish. A very nice wild ale/Belgian pale.
