aroma - brett B, leather, oak, white grape, pear, bubblegum, amber malt

taste - tart and tangy. White grape, green apple, oak, brett, some malty sweetness.

overall - like most Mikkellers, this is quality beer, but seriously overpriced at $13/375ml. I got lucky and snagged two bottles for $10. It was worth that.

Very disappointing beer. Pretty off-putting smell. Very funky with really weird notes. Taste was even worse. It wasn’t sour as expected and had some really gross rotten vegetable taste. Alcohol was also pretty evident. Maybe I had a bad bottle.

375 ml bottle poured into a teku glass. 8% ABV

Appearance: Pours a rusty copper color with 2 fingers of a light tan head. Body is hazy with light visible carbonation.

Smell: White wine, oak, barnyard funk, pineapple, peppery Belgian yeast.

Taste: Apple, funk, raisin, slight lacto character.

Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with a somewhat sticky mouthfeel and relatively high carbonation. Finishes tart.

Overall: Not bad, but not what I would call good. Flavors seem to clash and it produces a somewhat off putting funky medicinal character. Given the price, I would avoid this one.
