Poured from the bottle into a Chimay goblet.

The beer pours a cloudy ruby red color with a small layer of off white head that fades away quickly. The color is quite nice. The nose is full of raspberries with some lambic funk and a strong oak presence. The flavor follows from the smell, but the raspberry fades towards the end of the sip leaving you with oak and a lemony tartness. The mouthfeel is on the thick side with lots of smooth carbonation and an extremely dry finish. This is a very nice lambic. My only complaint is that the fruit goes away a bit too quickly.

Can

Deep ruby color with a small, yet persistent head that leaves beautiful strings of lacing on the glass. Raspberry jam, damp wood, red wine, faint balsamic, and tobacco aromas. Juicy, earthy red berries, lemon acidity, leather, hay, spicy wood. Medium bodied, sour, and dry. Lambic in a can...impressive!

12.7 oz green capped bottle at fridge temp poured into a snifter.

Pours out a very deep reddish pink color, pretty much opaque, a nice white, light pink colored head quickly fades to a ring. Lace is real quick to fall back into the beer.

Fresh raspberries blends with a nice rotted wood, lactic funk character

Again, sugary raspberries, raspberry seeds, lemon citrus acidity, some horsey Brett and a touch of lactic funk, maybe even a touch of wine.

Light bodied with a pretty good bright sourness that lingers on the palate.

A really nice framboise, maybe not quite as complex as some of the bigger lambic makers, but still a nice treat. Look forward to trying the other versions.

375ml bottle. If this is how I get raspberries in January, so be it.

This beer pours a dark, hazy cherry amber hue, with two fingers of thinly foamy pale pink head, which leaves a low wall of island profile lace around the glass as it evenly abates.

It smells of tart raspberry fruit pie, further vinegary acidic notes, yeasty dry white wine, and a stripped-down earthiness, potentially of the hop order. The taste is sour, acerbic cherry, lemon, and raspberry essence, the fruity, inherent sugary character more or less neutered to the near-hilt, a reserved, pale grainy maltiness, some middling Belgian yeast, further lime-focused citric notes, more in-progress, strained white and red white character, and a touch of herbal, leafy hops. The alcohol does well to keep its head mostly down through it all.

The bubbles are prominent enough, I suppose, in that I can detect them to a certain degree beyond the overbearing tartness of this whole deal, the body medium-light in weight, and generally smooth, other than the lingering sour fruity notes, which have a habit of mucking up things like this. It finishes still off-dry, just enough of the underappreciated malt able to put up its meager flag in an otherwise tart and bitter fruit-friendly environment.

Not too shabby of a fruit lambic - the pungent tartness is there, no doubt, but it also has the good grace to allow the malt and other fruit characteristics some lesser airtime. A mid-level example of the style, when you're thinking of stepping up your game beyond the introductory, sugar-heavy players.

Overwhelming band-aid smell and flavor. Had to pour it.

Good, but very barn yard funky upfront. Lots of funk in the nose too. Finished with a hint of sweet berrys.

Bottle pour to snifter, deep brownish red, tiny head, no lacing. Nose full of raspberry. Taste follows with a lactic sour that is not too extreme but still sour. Mouthfeel is higher than I expected for the style. Jammy raspberry done very well.
