A 375ml bottle with a best before date of 17th April 2024. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.
Appearance: A murky plum purple red colour with a one finger off white head that had decent retention and left nice lacing.
Aroma: Juicy, raspberry, raspberry jam, lightly vinous with hints of red wine.
Taste: Sour, tart, raspberry, lemon, funk, vinous, red wine vinegar with hints of oak.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: Quite nice, especially the jammy aromas. Taste wasn’t quite as jammy and juicy as the aroma, but still nice and easy to drink.

Bottle pour to snifter, deep brownish red, tiny head, no lacing. Nose full of raspberry. Taste follows with a lactic sour that is not too extreme but still sour. Mouthfeel is higher than I expected for the style. Jammy raspberry done very well.

Funky like my baby mama in a tube top, Raul is into this raspberry beauty. The thang glows a beautiful blush red like Martha Hunt during a giggle. Let’s dive into this sucker and get a little deeper...and you know what? Raul is glad he did. All esthetic beauty is met by glorious tastes that reign supreme. Tart raspberries, funky fruits like your grandpa’s backyard that hasn’t be tended in 16 years...

Can
Deep ruby color with a small, yet persistent head that leaves beautiful strings of lacing on the glass. Raspberry jam, damp wood, red wine, faint balsamic, and tobacco aromas. Juicy, earthy red berries, lemon acidity, leather, hay, spicy wood. Medium bodied, sour, and dry. Lambic in a can...impressive!

Mikkeller makes a lot of great stuff, especially the Lambics. My favorite was the Spontangooseberry (I love gooseberry) that I had some time ago, but this is great as well.
Look: dark reddish brown with a one-inch pink head.
Aroma: raspberry and a lit little bit of funk
Taste: The flavor is crackers, some yeast, lemon, and a lot of tart raspberry.
Feel: light to medium body, crisp and easy drinking.

330 ml can into tulip glass, best before 6/22/2017. Pours slightly hazy ruby red/light pink/orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light pink head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of huge tart/jammy raspberry, cranberry, lemon, lime, green apple, red grape, wheat, cracker, hay, straw, oak, musty funk, red wine vinegar, light vanilla, and yeast/oak earthiness. Incredible aromas with fantastic complexity and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, raspberries, oak barrel, and moderate pale malt notes; with huge strength. Taste of huge tart/jammy raspberry, cranberry, lemon, lime, green apple, red grape, wheat, cracker, hay, straw, oak, musty funk, red wine vinegar, light vanilla, and yeast/oak earthiness. Good amount of fruity/lactic sourness and tannic fruit/oak tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of raspberry, cranberry, lemon, lime, green apple, red grape, wheat, cracker, hay, straw, oak, musty funk, red wine vinegar, light vanilla, and yeast/oak earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, raspberries, oak barrel, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/sourness balance; lightly puckering, but not astringent. Moderate dryness from tart/sourness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and acidic/tannic/grainy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7.7%. Overall this is an incredible fruit lambic! All around fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/acidic yeast, raspberries, oak barrel, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink, despite the fairly intense lactic sourness and tannic fruit flavors. Never overwhelming with a nice malt backing for balance. A highly enjoyable offering.
