A - Pours a light straw colored yellow with MASSIVE head. This beer has some serious carbonation, pour slowly!! Snow white foam head is 4 finger plus! Lacing clings to side of pint glass.
S - Lemon, wheat, slight citrus, bready malt.
T - Lemon zest, light orange peel. Slight hop tartness.
M - Very thin and almost watery albeit this beer is only 2.4%!
O - An interesting beer from Mikkeller. Guess he wanted to prove he could brew a low abv beer that still had some flavor. Decent but would prefer other beers of this style. Could drink this beer all day but @ $5.00 a bottle you could not afford to!

See-through yellow color.
Huge white head; strong lacing.
Lemon & wheat nose. Pleasant.
Thin mouthfeel.
Crisp lemon flavor with hints of orange.
Slight but undeniably refreshing. On a blistering summer day this would be nirvana.

not exactly sure where this came from, or how a two year old bottle of this beer is supposed to taste, given that its so so low on alcohol. being fearless, and a mikkeller nerd, I excitedly popped this open and pours a cloudy lemonade looking glass of yeasty white fluffy mess, which actually somehow impressed me. it certainly retained its carbonation! the smell is very light and lemony, im not sure how much of the lightness is degraded flavor over time, or if its intentionally that way. I tend to lean toward the latter, but may never know. the flavor is boat beer all the way. its 95 degrees out, youre out on the water, sweating a lot, probably hung over still, and you need a beer, but a sixpack of normal brew will have you too tired to carry on, so enter this little fella, ice cold one after the other, this is ideal. unfortunately, its not sold in cheap 50 bottle packs... lemons and yeast, refreshing, light, time and place. good carbonation and no body at all. overall a strange concoction that have found a way to appreciate. not sure this belongs in the upper echelon of summer beers, but it makes good sense to me, and im satisfied.

Golden blond, quite carbonated, white foam, not too compact.
First thing in the smell is the fresh hop, citric, with a note of hay.
Quite bitter in the mouth, thin body, as it should.
Again citric, white grapefruit, maybe a touch of chamomile.
Fresh, thirst-quenching, light, but non banal.

If I didn’t know it was a Low Alcohol brew, I’d say it was OK. Even knowing that, it’s not bad. A bit of a citrusy nose to it and a biting flavor to it that almost has the feel of a diluted grapefruit juice. Interesting, though I wouldn’t drink it again.

Excellent LA beer! Poured at a good temperature with a large, foamy, cream-colored, thick, foamy, billowy, creamy head that lasts a while and some lace. Color is a clear gold with mass quantities of bubble trails.
Good beer to sip while watching the Venus transit.
Aroma is hoppy, yeast, fruit, resin. Flavor's like nose, quite dry, in this case the bitter and carbonic tang perfectly compliment one another. Body and carbonation are the best I've ever had for a LA. Finish is like flavor, fairly long, and thirst quenching. This beer is in a league of its own.

Poured from a bottle into a weisse vase, the beer pours with a towering, light, muffin-top head that starts around the ever expanding two inch mark, but subtly regresses into a sparse, spiderwebbing roadmap of filmy head. A slightly cloudy, bright, vibrant honey-gold coloring with a slight flow of cerbonation bubbling. Aromas are well blended, with a toasty wheat backbone supporting tropical fruit flavors of pineapple, mango, and melon. Some subtle spicing throughout the nose as well, including some clove and nutmeg. Flavors are sharp, with a roasty and slightly charred backbone. Subtle blending of fruit sweetness and spicing gives a very balanced and flavorful palate. Clove and nutmeg spicing once again make themselves known, providing a slightly sharp overtone to the smooth body of taste. Smooth aftertaste with all of the fruit and spices blending together, as well as a touch of citrus. Clean, creamy finish with a slight filmy linger. Very drinkable brew, and very well suited for hotter weather.

Pours a cloudy straw slightly orange color. Has a giant fluffy white head and the lacing sticks to the side the whole way down.
Smell starts off with a fresh zested orange type of citrus, slight grass. As it warms up the citrus fades and a grassy pine becomes predominant.
Taste is of orange peel and pine that come to me first. The tast of the wheat seems to be just a back up as the pine seems to be the star of this one.
Mouthfeel is very very light with a good amount of carbonation that scrubes the tounge.

A: Pours a cloudy gold with a big, foamy white head. Little streams of effervescence are clearly visible in the glass, so I'm betting that this will be very crisply carbonated.
S: Aromas of citrus, chalk, minerals, and wheat are present on the nose. Compared to the rather generic scent of most pale wheat ales, this is pretty appealing.
T: Notes of lemon, bitter orange, lime, and lemongrass dominate the entry, but quickly give way to flavors of minerals, cream, and wheat. The finish is grainy and rather brief, with a pleasant combination of lemon, lime, mineral, and wheat flavors.
M: This ale is predictably light in body, and also very dry. Carbonation is very firm and very crisp, imparting a bit of a gassy, bloating feeling that makes this beer seem much heavier than it is. If this were to be brought under control, it would really help.
O: Compared to most American pale wheat ales, this is an extremely flavorful, nuanced beer. I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I do. That being said, it is a bit too fizzy and gassy for my tastes. If the carbonation weren't so forceful, I would have no problem giving this one a much higher review.

Hey who wants a nice low abv beer!! I DO! Looking for good things on this one! Can Mikkeller pull it off? Poured into a wheat ale glass.
Woah! we need to slowly decant this sucker, as a big shocking white bubbly shampoo like head forms. Great clumpy action too, surrounded by big bubbles and lace. For a not too together head here this thing has quite some retention. Slightly cloudy but a nice straw body color too and lots of rising carbonation much like a Hefe. Lots of lacing, very great looking beer here.
The nose is wonderful the more I smell it. Light sweet malts, faint white bread, mild juicy sweet lemon. GREAT mix on this this is looking real good so far! A nice grainy smell too.
Taste is a little missing, but probably more so due to this style. A great lemon bitter, mixing with a citrus lemon fruit hop. Some decent body on this and has a great honey teeth coating effect. Residual sweetness in the front palate on the after taste. A very long lingering enjoyable bitterness. Crisp carbonation almost into sparkling wine territory, and bringing just a little bit of wheaty chew texture.
First sips didn't impress me as much, but subsequent ones made the beer better and better. I am really liking this one, super drinkable, truly an in the sun beer too, this would be so perfect for summer. I would want to slam these back all day. The best session ale? Well haven't tried them all, but lets get some more!!!
