1.5L bottle from barVolo. Split with Adrial and served in a wine glass. Apparently this is some sort of farmhouse ale aged in wine barrels with brett and cranberries. 2nd bottling: Bottle #122 of 200.
A - Big white foam settles to a thin cap, leaving behind ample splotchy lacework. Hazed amber-golden body.
S - The aroma reminds me a lot of the better batches of Spontanale. A mixture of sweet, stone fruit malts, cereal grains, tropical fruit funk, light oak, a touch of mineral, and fairly restrained sourness. Not sure I would have guessed cranberry here.
T - The flavor is quite similar, with stone fruits, tropical fruit funk, faint medicinal and mineral flavors, a bit of tart berry and vinous oak, and a touch of lemony lactic acidity. No discernible booze. Starts out like a funky Saison but finishes more lambic-esque.
M - Soft, creamy, medium body, that starts chewy but finishes super dry and oaky. Light, lingering, residual stickiness. No perceptible alcohol, but some light lingering acidity.
D - Quite good, although not quite great. Still, it's an unusual day when I can drink 750ml of Mikkeller with hesitation. Cranberry flavor seems to have faded out of this, but it's still quite flavorful and complex. Not a terrible value at $80 in a Toronto bar either.

Bar Volo bottle tasting. Peachy head with lace. Aroma had funk and wild yeast aromas. A smooth mouthfeel, though above average carbonation. Sour fruit increased as it warmed. Got a cherry sourness. Pretty tasty.Though a sipper, pretty drinkable.A bit boozy.

Big bottle (1L, I think) shared amongst great company at Mikkeller Bar in Copenhagen
Served in a small tulip glass
Enjoyed on 10 May 2012
A: Medium copper. 2.5 (white) fingernail head on gentle pour.
S: Smells of a farmhouse ale - wheat biscuit, spice, and soft fruit/citrus. Hints of cranberry, floral and oak notes as well.
T: Taste follows smell with good balance of cranberry, citrus, lemon, and oak. Touch of funk. Enjoyable floral notes too. Very easy to drink.
M: Light bodied with loads of carbonation.
O: A really enjoyable beer! Crisp, refreshing, and a good warm-up to the evening that was Sour & Bitter Dinner in Copenhagen.

A-Pours a copper, orange hazy hue which leaves a two finger creamy bubble laden head and sporadic lacing.
S-Lots of barnyard funk, vinegar, sweaty socks, wet hay and sour cherries basically all the usual suspects nice i like it.
T-Vinegar,fruit tingles, sherbet, barnyard funk and finished with a sour cherry mouth puckering dry finish.
M-Light bodied, mouth puckering sour and finishes dry as a bone.
O-A very nice example of a wild and very well done the only downfall of this drop is that you have to buy a 1.5litre magnum of it to sample it but would be a great one to go halves in with a mate who enjoys the style.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing to 1L bottle.
The beer pours a hazy orange color with a white head. The aroma is full of cherry and biscuit malt notes, with some sherry and oak also mixed in.
The flavor is quite different. I get a little bit of cherry, but I also get a decent amount of tartness along with some toffee malt, oak and a little bit of light funk.
Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
