Pours a big hazy tangerine with a massive off-white head. Nice lacing and beading. Pretty much everything about this is reminiscent of a Hopslam in my mind - big balanced pine and citrus, subdued booze undertones, with an exceedingly bitter afterbite. The beers drinks as easy as it can given the style. A tasty beer but, given the price, this is likely a one-time purchase.

Cloudy gold colour, smells like peaches, floral hops, citrus hops, and malty. Slightly alcoholic aroma. This is a heady flavourful beer and well balanced. Sweet heavy fruity malts phase into predominant floral and citrus hop followed by a strong alcohol peak. Lingering floral hops on palate. A very sippable beer.

Would I buy it again? Probably.

A:single finger head with lots of lacing and good retention on a golden with slight amber hue clear body.

S: very sweet citrus mostly, cinnamon notes. A little boozy.

T: Very piney with almost a barleywine like note. The booze are fairly strong with this one. Spicey notes.

M: medium body and moderate carbonation. Oily.

Overall: A little too sour and sharp for my tastes. The booze eclipse the hops somewhat. A good try but not memorable for the genre.

A: Copper in color with little head and lacing.

S: Alcohol is very strong up front. Sweet fruit, citrus, and strawberry notes are evident after getting through the alcohol aroma.

T: Very bitter hop bite, unbalanced, and one dimensional.

M: Thin despite the lower carbonation. Very astringent from all of the hops.

O: I was looking forward to this beer but it fell short of my expectations. Perhaps it would be better fresh...
