From Miguel. In Teku glass. At lunch, with fried potatoes with eggs and yellow fish. The lemon and lime are hidden behind layers of boring carbonation and yeastyness, like if this were an spanish amateurish brew. 7 months after bottling

Appearance is golden amber with very nice lacing.

Nose is malt and citrus, with basalmic vinegar.

Taste has a lot of grain, like a wheat beer. The lemon and lime are sharp and bright, not your typical candy citrus. Has a cool, umami funk to it.

Mouthfeel is refreshing with medium carbonation and some oil slickness.

Overall, this makes lemon and lime seem unique, when they hardly are at all.

it looks like they have brewed this one again, bought fresh last week in vermont, totally different label on it than the one pictured here, glad he is revisiting some of the older recipes i thought were gone forever, although this isnt one of the best mikkeller beers, not at all. its a pale ale basically, with wit elements, but both the lemon and the lime are pretty minimal in their influence. clear golden brew, honey colored, bright and heady. smells like a wit beer a little bit, with a flavorful warm fermented ale yeast and a little what in the base, with that citrus element, but its not bitter orange peel here, its lemon and lime. i suppose the lime stands out a little more than the lemon, but not by much, and neither one of them is particular pungent. in the taste, i get much more of a generic citrus thing than i do specifically lemon or lime. i hoped this would be a lime bomb, but its not even close. ended up a little bland, especially compared to expectations, but its really easy drinking, carbonated well, and a fine summer drink. for five bucks a bottle though, i was hoping for quite a bit more.

A: Golden with a light copper tinge, hint of cloudiness, little lager like carbonation. One finger of egg shell head.

S: Lager malts, a hint of lime soda or the kind of lime candy, a sort of artificial lime scent.

T: A hit of lager with a hop bitterness, a hit of sour lime I presume

M: Medium light body, light carbonation. A light coating left on the tongue of hops, and perhaps a sourness.

O: Fine, enjoying the novelty just not overwhelmed. Bought on Wishbeer, drank in Chiang Mai, Dec 12, 2014.

330ml bottle. 'Flavoured by Yde' - are they some sort of indie purveyor of citrus fruit in the Low Countries?

This beer pours a slightly hazy, pale golden amber hue, with three fingers of puffy, densely foamy, and lazily bubbly off-white head, which leaves some decent spooky forest lace around the glass as it evenly subsides.

It smells of biscuity and crackery pale malt, muddled citrus (there's bound to be lemon and lime in there somewhere), a bit of earthy yeast, and more leafy, grassy, and hay-like hops. The taste is ephemerally fruity, in almost a mentholated lozenge sort of way - spicy lemon/lime, sure, but orange, apple, and banana chips too (that just may be an artifact of the yeast), cinnamon hearts, gritty and grainy pale malt, and further grassy, dried straw hops.

The bubbles are pretty involved, in a frisky, prickly sort of manner, the body medium-light in weight, and basically smooth, the underwhelming fruit acids and more genial hops holding things back here just a tad. It finishes mostly dry - hoppy, not so obviously citrusy, and still kind of low-grade, unexpectedly spicy.

A good brew, overall, just not a good lemon/lime brew, is all. In the virtual absence of the purported guest fruit (maybe this Yde needs to be fired, or more likely, not re-upped on his/her/its contract), the malt and hops come together in the void to create something not altogether unlike an enjoyable ESB. Ya-huh - stranger things have occurred on this palate.

Golden pour, a tiny bit hazy, one finger white head for just a short while, very thin lace.
Soft smell of grainy malts, lemon and lime not too strong, a bit of sweetness hinted.
Taste starts with crisp lemon and lime zest, some apple acidity, all atop some pale malts with a simple dry grainy feel to it. Some prickly pepper prepares for the dry finish, mildly bitter with some grassy hops.
Light bodied, fizzy enough to help the entire dryness of the beer. Somehow resembles Asian rice lagers. Not much left afterwards, some grass and lemon peel.
Refreshing, but actually very bland.

Golden orange body, slightly hazed, one finger of foam that settles to a thin skim after a few minutes. Minimal lace and head.

Aroma of basic ale yeast and co2 at first, nothing remotely fruity about the aroma.

Taste has a vague dried lime peel note, but the base beer of simple grains overshadows it. Overcarbonated and prickly feel, slight bitterness, basic 2-row malt taste. Overall a pretty uninspired beer, maybe it was meant to be paired with Thai food, as it's namesake is a Thai restaurant.

A-Hazy gold hue which leaves a fast vanishing one finger head.

S-Dominated by lemon and lime with some grassy hops and a touch of barley sugar.

T-Lemon,lime,a touch of apple, pale malts and finished with a bitter herbal grassy hoppiness.

M-Light bodied very similar to a Radler not much to it tho.

O-Probably Mikkeller's worst effort for me and would not revisit cheers.
