750 ml bottle, best by 02/25/2017 printed on the cap, so apparently this is good for two years LOL. A new holiday big bottle to me from Mikkeller, acquired from the local bottle shop.

Poured into a Duvel tulip glass.

A - It pours a honey gold body, lots of sediment haze visible even in the bottle before pouring. Active carbonation, with three big fat fluffy airy fingers of bubbly white head. Fluffy, with excellent staying power. Heavily clouded with sediment upon further pouring.

S - A very distinct and interesting aroma. Prominent smell of sweet honey, with a minty / herbal smell imparted from the pine needles. Traditional earthy doughy yeast presence.

T - Taste follows much the same path as the nose: lots of sweetened honeyed malts, herbs, mint, and authentic pine needle flavor. Very unique & delicious. I am actually really enjoying this.

M - Smooth, fluffy, & creamy. Very easy-drinking and delicious stuff. Piney, resinous, & bitter, but more attributed to the pine needles than actual hops this time.

Overall, absolutely delicious and drinkable. Would love to see stuff like this available is six packs yearly. A sure winner.

Super tasting beer with hints of the pine needles and ginger. Lots of frothy head and lace. Incredibly easy drinking. Bit of alcohol warmth towards the end of the finish. Fab brew.

A: Orange with almost a touch of red, cloudy, no visible carbonation and a finger of creamy white head.

S: Pine needles, orange candy, popcorn, malt, melon as in a honey dew.

T: Pine needles, starts off with a light bitterness that like chili peppers, increases in strength to the end of the brew. Orange, grapefruit. Light sweetness. Not getting the ginger, though the little burn in the throat may be that or alcohol.

M: Thick, resinous, with a solid almost foamy carbonation.

O: I love the idea behind this beer, make a hoppy pine needle induced beer for Christmas, rather than the typical winter warmer or spiced up dark Belgian. Great label of reindeer eating missal toe. Got this brew in Bangkok at Mikkeller bar, drank in Kunming March 15th, 2015.
