Pours a three finger brown head that fades slowly leaving some lace. Black color, no highlights, some of yeast left in bottle. Good carbonation and heavy bodied. Chocolate nose and flavor is almost sweet chocolate, coffee and hints of chipotle spiciness. Beyond expensive (what was I thinking?) at $18.99 for a 375ml bottle from Julio's Liquors Marlboro, MA.

Didn't see this listed already.

Pours a sexy pitch black with a thin head into my glass. Nice lacing too! Looks like a very palatable example.

Sweet and creamy with cocoa, whiskey, coffee and chili essence. The latter isn't as strong as expected.

All flavors meld beautifully. Cocoa, whiskey, cream and more. Chipotle peppers add just a dash of spiciness.

The spiciness is something that you will notice more at the back of the throat. It's subtle so you may not catch it right off. Carbonation is one of the reasons why.

However, after this ale warmed up, I started to notice more of the chipotle flavor. The beer became spicier overall.

An amazing example of a porter that can fool those who don't understand the benefits of warming beer to room temperature. The flavors come out better if you do here. Check this out while you can still find it!

A - milkkeller always brews a beautiful beer. Stellar cascade of milk chocolate brown head with outstanding retention and lace. Solid bowling ball black body.

S - relatively light. Red bell peppers, molasses, a touch of smoke and oak.

T - Smooth with chocolate, warm chilies, black coffee, oak, vanilla, and caramel.

M - creamy medium body

O - a really nice chile beer; a well balanced take on the style with only a moderate chile heat.

Poured from a 350 ml bottle into a Jester King pint.

A- Pours dark brown, near black with a 2 finger dark tan head. Large blotches of lacing remain on the glass.

S- Dark fruits, scotch, peat, and oak.

T- Sweet chocolate, dark fruit, scotch, peat. Not finding much a pepper taste, but has a slight spice at the finish.

M- Medium body and carbonation.

O- Expected more pepper from this beer. Dark fruits and scotch whiskey take over this beer for the most part.
