Poured out of a bottle, 2013 vintage.

If you leave a bit in the bottle, you get a fairly clear, golden/caramel colored beer. If you pour in the dregs, it's really cloudy, raw apple cider, in color. There's basically no head, just slight white ring of lace.

The smell, overall, is sour with a hint of floral on top.

Flavor is basically sour with a hint of floral, it's not that it's bad, but we assumed that it would be fruitier, and, as a result, we were not prepared for what we got. The mouthfeel is enough to support the flavor, except there should be more behind the sour in terms of rose.

Overall, wouldn't buy it again. Glad to have tried it. I'd rather just go for a known sour quantity...

Very dry and rather jumbled from a taste perspective.

Pours a rosy pink golden color. Bubbly head when pouring but it faded immediately. Aroma is of dry, spicy yeast, straw, some funk and faintly floral. Taste is much the same as the aroma. Highly carbonated on the tongue, like champagne. Light, thin body like champagne as well.
