On tap at the ABC brew pub in a ceramic mug. Appearance is hard to judge fully in ceramic - looks like a nice shade of brown the mug with a decent head at pour but dissipates quickly. Good malty taste with a slight hint of brown sugar. Mouthfeel is somewhat disappointing - minimal carbonation.

Creamy and slick mouthfeel on a marzen was interesting.

As with the rest of the line, average. Much better out there.

A solid Oktoberfest marzen, more in the vein of Sam Adams but with not as much of the caramel sweetness - this one is better balanced in my opinion. Goes down easy.

Pours an amber brown with an off-white lacing for a head.
Smells of caramel and sweet biscuity malts with a notable sugary element.
Flavor is of sugary malt, biscuit, hints of coppery malt, and a light dry bitter finish.
Medium body with a tingle of carbonation on the roof of the mouth.
A solid drinkable sessionable marzen that hits the spot. Doesn't wow, but gets the job done and is actually quite enjoyable if a little forgettable. Worth a try.
