Who can resist finishing any indulgent Italian meal without a nightcap of kaluha-rich tiramisu? With Pizza Port's Beerramisu in hand you can get all that luscious flavor wrapped in a stout blanket and at dizzying strength to boot.
Lavishly dark in saturating deep and dark brown hues. Forgivably short in head structure, a light and delicate froth floats on top like espresso creme. Sultry aromas of chocolate, coffee, cream and sweet dessert breads flood the nose in much the same way as those Italian dessert kitchens. As it creamy roast flavors wash the tongue, it does so with seared toffee, heavy whipping cream, vanilla and shortbread savoriness.
As the ale goes into full saturation mode on the middle palate, its bittersweet chocolate flavors are brownie-like with a bitter walnut bite. Balanced with the creaminess of vanilla and malt, a taste of shortbred offers a milkshake flavor and feel. Warm in finish, the beer's lasting impressions are of kaluha and cream.
Full, lush and decadent, the beer's light carbonation allows the stout to lie on the tongue like sweet dessert. Remaining weighted and saturating, its aftertaste is long, succulent and bittersweet; lasting well into the next sip.

A - Pitch black, thick caramel colored lacing ring, lots of legs on the side of the glass.
S - Mocha, coffee, and cream.
T - Creamy, bourbon, oak, dark roasted chocolate. Oak and dark roasted chocolate on the back end.
M - Medium body that's a little thin on the finish, minimal carbonation.
O - I'm a fan of Port Brewing Beers - Solid, but one dimensional. (IMO)

650 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Black body with a khaki head. Smells very roasty. Light coffee and coconut. Taste is also extremely roasty. Stronger coconut, but it's behind the roasted malt. Coffee bitterness in the back end. Heavy. Delicious.
