Grandview Golden is a tribute to a popular, yet secluded, sandy surf spot in Leucadia. Pilsner malt combined with Mt. Hood and Hallertau Blanc hops create a blonde, crisp, crushable beer. Keep Leucadia funky….Cheers!

12/28/18...pours pale yellow, active fizzy foam. Thick white foam lid. A sort of lemon pils nose. Light blonde flavor. Fast finish. Some citrus, pils backed bitter. Simple but effective.

Pretty solid golden ale here, though in true West Coast style it finishes a bit hoppier than I'm used to at home. But that's okay, since I was in the restaurant and wanted the full local experience. Nothing too adventurous with this style, but well made, and went well with my pizza.

Outside of the plethora of IPAs that Pizza Port excels in this is a diamond in the rough.

This is kind of an oddity. It's a very dry Blonde ale. It pours a clear golden yellow color with a disappearing foam. Melts in your mouth with a resiny tang. Aftertaste is something like the water you boiled potatoes in.
I suppose it's better to have a Blonde that's a little tart and not so flabby. Still, it would have to be nicely spritzy to be very drinkable. From the 16 oz can purchased at Litickers Liquour in OB. On the bottom it says "Canned on 01/17/18."
