Thanks to Tommyguz for securing and the hand delivery of this across our state. 32oz growler filled at the brewery, consumed ASAP 3 days later in a 22oz matching Voodoo snifter. The brew pours a hazy golden yellow color with a firm white finger that holds well. As the cap fades, it completely paints the glass with patchy lace.

The aroma is pleasantly hoppy with a soft almost tropical feel blending to orange rinds. There is a grainy back that smells a bit like straw. As it warms, it gets a little herbal. It does not boast the best bouquet for pale but it is to the point and showcases the single hop in all its glory with nothing else present to distract.

The taste is bitter and almost grassy. Quite rindy feeling like grapefruit pith and zest. Maybe a little orange component pops out with some sips. Just like the aroma suggested, there is a neutral grain backing tasting a bit like straw. The flavor of this single hop is a bit lacking.

This is a very light bodied brew with modest carbonation. Plenty of bitterness but lacking in overall distinguishable hop flavor. At times it feels a little watery but at the same time, you could drink a bunch of it effortlessly. I appreciate the beer for what it is. I think it is safe to say that this hop just cant stand on its feet alone.
