Thank you Tommyguz for being my lifeline who assists me in trying all these great new voodoo offerings. 12oz bottle poured into a matching Voodoo teku. The brew appears a beautiful golden copper color with a finger of white head. The cap fades down to a thin film with spotty lace sticking to the glass. A swirl revives a finger effortlessly.

The aroma is fruity almost like orange marmalade and a sweet floral component. Grapefruit rinds blending to grass and herbs that has a fresh feeling like sticking your face into a palm full of crushed up pelletized hops. This smells like it is going to be some great stuff.

The flavor is quite bitter and rindy like chewing on fruit pulp/pith - more specifically grapefruit with a slight lemony aspect. It gets quite grassy to herbal in the finish with a dusty aspect like that previously mentioned grainy hop pellet feel. Quite herbal and dry in the finish.

This is a medium bodied brew with moderate carbonation. Look and nose are fantastic. The taste is a little gritty and dusty but still very much enjoyable. Its pretty easy to kill a couple bottles of this. I saw a lot of people mentioning this brew in the same vein as "Good Vibes" the abv is the same but that is where it stops. I very much prefer this and the usage of the 7 "C's" hops. Nicely done.

Pours from a 750 ml bottle, slightly hazed IPA unfiltered Hoodoo IPA from Matt Allyn and company in Meadville, PA. I'm really excited to see a new IPA bottled from Voodoo. Copper body, thicket of khaki off white head, speckled lacing gathers around the sides of the glass. Aroma has citric hops, grapefruit pith notes, ripened mango, tropical fruits with biscuit malts and very nice perceived bready sweetness. The spicy dank hop character pairs well with the citric tropical fruits on the palate the flavors blend well, usually once the brewer uses seven hops it becomes a muddled mess, that's not the case here. I like the malt profile pale malts just a touch of color 2 row, caramalt, carapils, and acidulated malts. As the beer warms up the pine and danker hops come out pretty clearly hop bitterness reigns through in each sip. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied oily slick hops texture the palate, carbonation is nice carries it all so well. Overall I'm very happy with this PA brewed IPA, besides Victory it's hard to recall another IPA done so well in the Commonwealth of PA.

Thanks stakem for the hookup!

Poured 12oz bottle into snifter bright golden orange body with a one finger soapy white head.
smell-huge tangerine and pine hit me at first than some ripe grapefruit...one of the best smelling IPAs I had this year so far
Taste-very bitter huge grapefruit up front but than you get some sweetness from the malt but not much at all also some grassy and herbal notes.
Mouthfeel- very dry and get some grittiness but that can be from hop resin this is less than a week old it's super fresh and really good! Maybe just try to work on the mouthfeel and this will be a knockout !
