Pours a clear golden color with white head and plenty of lacing. The aroma is very tropical, with loads of fresh grapefruit, papaya, orange, pineapple awesomeness. There is a light wheat element as well with a bready aroma, but its very tropical in the nose which is fantastic for a wheat ale.

In the taste, big juicy pineapple, mango, papaya, and citrus. Some bread and light banana notes are undertones to the big hoppyness. Grapefruit, lemongrass and pine. There is a fair amount of bitterness, this drinks more like an IPA than a Wheat, and there are no complaints here.

Overall, this medium bodied, tropical wheat would make an ideal companion on any occasion. Very pronounced tropical hop notes, this beer is aptly named. Top notch stuff here.

Super psyched to get to try this. After hearing about this beer from some friends, I was lucky enough to get a super fresh growler of it from a friend at work. Poured into a Ballast Point tulip glass...

A - Pours a very clear (pretty much translucent) golden color. A VERY white, soapy looking head forms about 1.5 fingers thick. The head leaves some spotty lacing here and there along the glass.

S - The aroma starts in a VERY good place for me. Hoppy notes of juicy mango, peach, pineapple, orange and lemon stand out the most. There are some slight wheat notes, but the tropical fruit flavors really are the star here. The aromas are much lighter and more delicate than your bigger, in-your-face IPA or DIPA.

T - Man. These flavors ROCK! Big juicy hits of mango, orange, lemon zest, some peach, grapefruit, and pineapple right out of the gate. Some grassy flavors come through here and there along with some light breadiness following the juciy hop flavors. A bit of bitter pine rounds things out. I could easily see this being confused for a sessionable IPA.

M - Medium to lighter in body here. There is a good amount of carbonation present making this one crisp and light on the tongue. INCREDIBLY drinkable. I flew through my 32 oz growler faster than I had hoped - a testament to how drinkable and flavorful this beer really is.

O - Oustanding offering from Voodoo that actually delivers what is advetised. This type of flavor is what I crave in a DIPA or IPA and I have finally been blown away by them in a wqheat based beer! I truly hope I get a chance to try this again. Cheers!

Thank you Kirt/Zach/Tom for making this happen. 32oz growler into a matching voodoo snifter. The brew pours a crystal clear golden orange/copper color with a firm white topping 2 fingers strong that fades leaving spotty lace. The look is beautiful on this.

The aroma is juicy with hops. Slight pineapple, mango, citrus zest, grass, pith to pulp with a little dusty hop pellet feel but overall awesome. Very juicy and inviting all across the nose.

The taste has that same dusty hop pellet feel with a slight touch of grainy freshness. It is grassy, herbal and catty before blending to more of a pine, pith and pulpy zesty bitterness that is very clean and snappy.

This is medium to light bodied brew with a modest level of carbonation. It is effortlessly drinkable. I could easily kill a gallon of this stuff. It is so light and refreshing with plenty of hop flavor. Up to this point, I havent understood the slight craze over mosaic I get it. You need to get on top of this beer. Well done.

Pour is transparent pale orange with a white head. Nose is very tropical, faint grain balance with mango, pear, tropical fruit. Taste has a bit more grain, well balanced tropical fruit notes. Awesome hop profile, clean flavors and soft well carbonated body.

Tropic is definitely the right word to be using here. This basically comes off as a hoppy pale ale and nothing at all like a wheat. Nice drinker.

Poured a lightly pale, almost clear, golden body with minimal head but left some lace patches. The aroma is hops of a fresh variety, like they just brewed this (I had this at House of 1,000 beers PA Craft Beer Week tasting event so it slightly possible that was a fresh batch - especially b/c they billed it as a double dry hopped ale), with a large, citric and earthy foundation. Smooth, sweet, this beer combines a tropical fruit like (pineapple, mango) sweetness with grapefruit and juicy citric hops for a wonderfully balanced and sweet, but not overly sweet beer. The sweetness and smoothness, as well as the beer's overall fullness, is added to by a very minor but noticeable wheat/yeast twang and there are just enough malts to keep it balanced with a slightly dry edge. One of those beers that has a decent amount going on but is not too boozy and too easy to drink.

Growler from Joe. Another big thanks! Pours clear golden with a very small white head. Fresh lemon peel and grass aroma, a hint of tropical fruit, some very pretty floral notes. Very nice. Flavor is light grassy citrus peel, floral notes, resinous and juicy, papaya and mango, some pineapple, light bitterness. Lingering grassy tropical notes on the palate. Very light bodied with medium low carbonation. Finishes crisp. Another nice brew from VooDoo.
