Taster flight at Voodoo-Boise. Hazy yellow pour with a small, frothy white head. Citrusy aroma, notes of grapefruit and pineapple. Taste is citrus zest, pineapple and grapefruit with a lttle bite to it.

Visuals are what you would expect for an unfiltered IPA - turbid / opaque, lighter yellow, pineapple juice, creamy head. Aroma is earthy, lots of flowery hops - galaxy, mosaic, maybe a little vic secret. Taste isn’t as hop-heavy as I would have guessed based on the aroma - again I got a very Australian hop vibe from it upfront, very grassy - but it fades quickly. It isn’t “juicy” like a NE, nor does it have the malt bite or bitterness of a PNW. The bitterness is fairly acrid and stale, like old fruit left out in the heat. Not sure what they were going for here but it is a big miss for me. *opened another can a week later and it had tons diacetyl/ butter flavors. Disappointing for sure

Alright, I have to get it out of the way- it's gold, Jerry, gold!
This one pours a golden light amber, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like piney resinous hops, soft tropical fruit, and flowers.
This is really nice. It's 9.3%, and you would have no idea. It's so smooth, with a pleasant bitterness, and a soft creamy hop character- mango, peach, grapefruit, etc.
This is medium bodied, with no hint of the booze. The bitterness lingers slightly.
This is a really nice beer, and obviously a great reference.

Hazy OJ orange with a dense off-white cream.
Smell is orange, pineapple, pine and a hint of vanilla.
Taste is slightly more dank with cannabic allium, Orange Julius, and pineapple.
The medium round body sometimes has some chew in the finish, but overall is such a juicy, silky smooth and lightly dank crusher.

16oz pounder can poured into an East End Brewing snifter:
Look: Pours an amazing hazy golden yellow color with about an inch of head. Lacing is present with pretty good retention.
Smell: Juicy, tropical notes on the nose along with some pine!
Taste: Taste very similar to the nose for me. Lots of juicy and tropical notes! Some piney notes also present with minor bitterness which is nice. This is very crushable at 9% as well!
Feel: Medium bodied.
Overall: Very solid DIPA from the crew at Voodoo. Step behind Space Cadet in my opinion but not very far behind. Glad I was able to score a 4 pack of these cans. I will be revisiting this DIPA the next time it comes out whether in cans or via growler fill!
