Poured into a narrow mouth imperial pint glass: color is straw gold, quite dense hazy, head is off white and presents two fingers thick.
Smell is sharp citrus and mixed tropicals, big simcoe like onion bite, smooths with some malt aroma of bread and biscuit.
Taste is pithy citrus, light mixed tropicals, simcoe like pungency, some bread and biscuit and light barely, maybe light boozy burn.
Mouthfeel is low/moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness, lingering bite and drying with warmth.
Overall a solid looking DHIPA with notable pithy forward flavor and some malt depth, lingering biting hop flavor/presence.

Opaque dark orange, coming damn near a brownish-amber, with an airy khaki head of spongy foam.
Exhibiting a solid juiciness contrasted by a bite of herbal eucalyptus, and bolstered by touch of vanilla whip dolloped shortbread, this is pretty tasty in spice of its appearance.
The medium body has a nice fluff to it, finishing chewy dry.
I believe the can I reviewed was batch 16, as it was picked up at the Compound on 6/25/2021, but I really have no way of knowing, and I scoured the label several ways from Sunday.

Served from a can released six days ago into a tulip glass.
A: A dark amber hue with a white head that dissipates quickly.
S: Hints of ripe tropical fruit as well as some pine.
T: Some dank tropical fruit and very citrus forward.
F: On the verge of being chewy and pleasantly sits on the palate. Smooth but not overly creamy.
O: I hadn't heard of this beer before stopping by the brewery, but this was a pleasant surprise to walk away with some cans of. A very nice refreshing and fruity IPA.
