Received in a BIF, huge thanks to @calcifer

another rare 5 for me

looks amazing in the glass

nose is ridicules, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon

flavor matches nose, its just perfect flavors all around. every sip extremely enjoyed.

mouthfeel is what really sets this apart, smooth velvet

overall this is one hell of a beer. I tried to make it last as long as possible, every sip just perfect for my taste

Shiny cola black with a still, slick headless surface.

Smell is astringent metal, mixed nuts, rotten milk and cheese.

Taste improves greatly over that abominable nose, but the wood still adds a blue cheese funk to the flavor. Nonetheless, there is a mild chocolate presence and a slight char of oak, but no real bourbon flavor. A dusty cocoa emerges as it warms.

Feel is slick and at least a bit thick with a shy thick fizz, finishing semi-dry. It's fusile nature heats up a lot as it warms. You can definitely feel the burn.

Another overly hyped brew by Voodoo that I'm supremely let down by. I've sworn off chasing anything by these guys at this point.

This might be the blackest, thickest looking beer I can remember pouring. Poured from a bottle into a snifter with almost no head.
Aroma is boozy, with dark brown sugar and caramel in there too. Touch of fresh oak aroma also.
First thing that hits me on the taste is actually the mouthfeel: it's almost too thick. I know some people will love that, but it's a bit much for me. Flavor follows the nose with a decent bit of chocolate and light coffee/roast too. It's definitely boozy but honestly I think it would probably be best fresh, but we'll see how the other to bottles hold up for a year or two.

fuckin thiqq. sweeter than others if I remember. even tho its a ruski. probably attributed to the 4rose barrels. old4ester and especially the rye seem a bit drier and supplement the russian quality. the 4rose more compliments the russian quality of the stout- balances to a sweetness with that chocobomb. overall relishing in the glory. well done

Draft offering during the barrel
room collection release. Served in a BRC snifter appears black in color with khaki head that is quick to fade.

Nose is cocoa with a fruity almost raison meets black licorice aspect before booze comes into play with a mild smokiness, earth and oak lingering.

There is no escaping it, it tastes boozy like all other fresh black magick iterations with a wonderful chocolate appeal mid-palate finishing with anise, charred grain, smoke, touch of herbal hops and oak.

This is just a rich, full bodied brew chock full of goodness. It has a light level of carbonation and makes for one super tasty sipper. On par with most other black magick releases, no better no worse and everything ive come to expect from a new black magick release.

On tap. Tan head. Black color.

Super fudgy. Reminds me of Bcs 14 and earlier. Roasted but not burnt. Chocolate. Great bourbon flavors. Vanilla, oak, marshmallow. This is decadent. Warming and smooth. Full bodied.
