The beer pours Pitch Black with a big frothy khaki head. It has medium low carbonation. The beer smells of maple syrup, coffee, molasses, and figs. It tastes of maple syrup, coffee, cocoa powder, molasses, and figs. The feel is medium and robust. A very good maple stout, well balanced and robust.

My first experience with Voodoo, and I’m pretty excited about it! Canned 05/29/18.

Pours a viscous black, with a deep tan head of bubbly head that fizzles out slowly. A bit cold of a pour to gauge lace retention right away, but I’m predicting heavy amounts as I drink this and as it warms.

Awesome nose of roasty coffee, sweet maple, and semi sweet chocolate chips. It’s got a bit of earthiness to it that gives a pleasant contrast of bitterness, but in the best way possible.

A true breakfast stout. That Morning cup of black coffee hits first. This isn’t a barrel-aged Stout, but you do get a really nice earthy, bitter, sweet boozy quality that might fool you. It’s incredibly smooth, but with a nice warmth as it goes down. Coffee is 100% the most prominent adjunct here, but there is a subtle sweet balance that intensifies as it warms.

This beer boasts a thin, watery body, but it has such an awesome mouthfeel. Milky, creamy, viscous, but not in any way offputting. Amazing smoothness, sticky, delightful.

A pounder can into a mug streams black and comes to rest in my vessel with a dark brown head that fades leaving stringy lace.

The aroma is earthen and roasty with bakers chocolate, coffee and rich maple.

The taste is rich with coffee, earthen bitter chocolate, slight herbal hops and finishes with a touch of booze and maple sweetness.

This is rich in body and modestly carbonated. A tasty sipper of a beer. I didnt get any pancakes or thin feels though so i guess i got ripped off.
