On nitro. Looks like most nitro beers, proper color, creamy head. On the whole there is just too much lactose on this beer for me. You certainly get chocolate malt and some nice smooth coffee / roasted malt and all of that, but it is cloying and sweet with an overdose of lactose sugar.

Taste is chocolate milk and some vanilla with coffee and toasty malts towards the end.

Very thin mouthfeel and very easy to drink. Alcohol is hidden well. Great dessert beer.

Cola black with a permanently thick, dense creamy tan head.

Smell is pretty standard and nondescript roasted malt, nearing coffee, with notes of spiced cola and milk.

Taste is much more unique, like chocolate milk spiked with a little roasted coffee.

Thin but creamy soft with a uniquely dry chewy finish.

definitely a unique taste for a stout. a little light when it comes to mouth feel but the taste delivers a creamy vanilla with a nice sweet aftertaste. great dessert beer.

Poured from a 16oz Nitro can into a Voodoo Teku glass. Thanks HoppyBastard1 for this generous extra.

Pours a beautiful deep brown body with a big frothy cloud-like head that has a nice brown-to-light brown gradient that eventually settles to a thick layer of retention and lacing. All the great looks of a nitro beer.

Aromas are coffee and chocolate. Taste matches the nose with a deeper chocolate flavor.. very fudgey, very chocolatey. Milk chocolate with a lightly roasty aftertaste. Smooth, silky mouthfeel, very easy to drink.

A nice change of pace.. a very well done nitro beer. This is where nitro adds something to a beer.. but not all styles would benefit like this one.
