Tasted on tap in a sample glass (and ultmately a snifter). Truly a unique beer - pours a dark brown with a one finger mocha head. The nose is straight chocolate milk, and the palate follows suit with notes of coffee quickly being drowned in a creamy bath of chocolate milk. The body is where this beer really falls apart though. The cream of the chocolate milk is very evident at first, but gives way too an extremely thin, almost watery mouthfeel. This is the antithesis of what this beer should be going for in terms of body, and the watery mouthfeel only accentuates a palate that is ultimately disappointingly one-dimensional. There's absolutely a novelty factor to this beer, but it falls far short of being balanced enough to stand on its own throughout an entire glass.

This is a very fun stout...like mixing chocolate milk and beer. Not normally a big nitro fan but in this case it really adds to a creamy mouthfeel. Sweet chocolate flavor. A tad thin for me but overall this is a nice departure from most of the imperials out there. Huge thumbs up.

12 oz. nitro draft in a snifter

Pours dark cola brown with milk chocolate highlights and a half-finger of creamy tan head. Smells like light coffee with hazelnut creamer and sugar. Taste is more of the same. Virtually no hint of bitterness whasoever. Soft dark roasted malt with sweet cream, cocoa powder and light coffee. Body is viscous and creamy, very nice. While I do enjoy the smooth feel of a beer that is well-suited for nitro, such as this one, I also tend to feel like there's something missing.

Overall, it's a bit sweeter than I generally prefer my stouts, but it's smooth as can be and makes for a knockout after dinner sipper. It's hard to believe there's any alcohol in here, let alone 8.5%. Glad I got to try this one, and I wouldn't hesitate to get it again.

Jet black, on nitro with a beautiful latte-colored frothy head. Awesome.

Nose is a bit subdued, but lots of creamy sweetness, dark fruits and caramel and chocolate.

Taste follows nose. Lots of caramel sweetness, lactose, coffee, chocolate-chocolate-chocolate, dark fruits. This is tasty af.

Feel: nitrooooo. So awesome. Has a nice full body and oh so smooth. So so smooth.

Overall: knockout round 1 bruh. This is Ronda Rousey pre-Holly Holm.

Nice smooth creamy stout not bitter at all and very easy drinking. Pours a deep dark almost black color with nice head and lacing. Not really any alcohol taste for 8.5% which is nice.
