On tap at Als served in a pint glass. Limited release 500th brew.

Pours a clear dark amber color with little to no head besides a minimal amount of white carbonation bubbles that rise to the surface of the brew. Alcohol aroma is also filled with scents of grain and a little bit of hops. Taste has a very fresh grain profile along with mild alcohol warmth, bitter hops and slightly citrusy. Light feel with moderate to high carbonation level. Lingering taste of the fresh grain and mild lingering bitter hops is left in the mouth. Overall it isn't bad but it falls a little short on my expectations and is quite mild for a barleywine with a slightly watery taste to it. The fresh grain taste however is a very noteable characteristic I did like though.
