Generous amounts of specialty grains combined with Centennial and Zythos hops provide a perfect balance of tropical fruit and malt. Incredibly flavorful, this red-hued beer leaves the taste buds tantalized, such that they can only be satisfied with nothing less than another sip of this robust brew.

DATE: May 22, 2021... OCCASION: another beautiful night to celebrate Joey's birthday ends with another quality drink... GLASSWARE: Otto's dimpled mug... pours a dark red, mostly opaque body that supports a single-fingered off-white head whose bubbles froth to a lacy ring... intense pine and caramel erupt at the nose, with candied sugars and bread malts as well.... a vibrant, lively sip bubbles up, aggressively shaking the teeth with some heat in the mouth.... a medium-bodied draw, this finishes with a lingering sweetness that keeps... big malt impact, with caramel and toffee both competing for attention... sweet, bready, and yet resinous and bold... this tattoos the taste buds with its flavor profile, unleashing its weight in this most appreciated way...the citrus is sneaky but present... haven't had a CH brew in a while, but I m glad I had this one...

A: Clear copper tinged vermillion. Foamy light tan with long-lasting sudsy retention.
S: High on the pine and grapefruit, I reckon it's like an over-malted WCIPA. Caramel, tangerine.
M: Med dry with med-high carbonation, which leads to a drier finish with virtually no sweetness.
T: Resin, pine, pink grapefruit graffiti, Brazil nut, lemon, einkorn bread. Lingering, bitter hop finish. Not sure if I'd drink this on the regular as its not really my style. Interesting enough for a change of pace sorta thing.

Pours red with a 0.25" white head. Smell is light fruity. Taste is malty and a touch fruity. Feel is very good, very smooth. Overall it's an excellent red ale at 8.2%.

Overall: Had this on tap at a local bar and it left an impression. It was smooth, great taste, and surprisingly refreshing. Wish I could find it in store!
