A: I was there around 6:30 pm on a Wednesday evening. Place was very busy. Large open area with the bar in the middle of the restaurant. Classic rock was consistently played over the speakers.

Q: Considering this is a national chain, not bad. Quite touristy though.

Service. I sat at the bar. The bartenders were attentive despite being busy. Can't complain about the service.

Selection: The beer menu is quite extensive. The menu is organized from lightest to darkest. Very well organized. As a beer lover, the list was satisfying. Nothing on the menu seemed too surprising.

Food: I had the halibut. It was cooked very well. Came with parmesan mashed potatoes, asparagus, and bok choy. The menu varies from seafood, steaks, burgers, sandwiches, pizza, and salads. Something for everyone.

V: Overall, for being out of town on business by myself, this place is comfortable. I feel the prices are a little pricey though.

Okay, many BAs have reviewed this place but they've missed the point of this place overall.

I came here on a recent "business" trip. I dropped in on a weekday afternoon.

Atmosphere: I honestly can't imagine a better outside atmosphere. Hell, this is Palm Beach and there are tons of palm trees, great weather, etc. The restaurant itself is very wide open, with tons of tables, taps, computers, etc.

Quality and Service: Once again, I came here on a weekday afternoon, so the service by my waitress was absolutely impeccable.

Selection: Here is where everyone else has complained: The problem stems from the fact that the restaurant claims that they have the "Biggest Taps List in the World." Misleading for sure, but I wouldn't call this place a macro-muck mecha. They had a lot of great stuff: I ordered a Red Skull Amber, CCB Maduro, and a Southern Tier Mocha for dessert. I don't think that line-up sucks at all.

Food: I thought it was fantastic! I ordered a pot pie (awesome!) and got two meals out of it. Also, for dessert, I got the Kona Coffee Ice Cream sundae. Need I say more?

Value: I usually spend the same amount at Chili's and the tap list and food here was infinitely better.

When you're shopping around this area and wanting a beer or two before a movie (there's also a movie theater here), come here for some food and relaxation!

I'm not entirely sure what Yard House's purpose is. It's a big restaurant (and restaurant chain) with a very large craft beer tap list, but the beer menu also includes plenty of macro swill as well, which to me takes up valuable keg real estate and should be reconsidered. Is it a restaurant with a lot of beer, or is it a giant beer bar with a full food menu? Yard House contributes virtually nothing to south Florida's burgeoning beer community. I never hear about craft beer dinners, tap takeovers, or any specially events of that nature. They sell yards of beer, which just seems gimmicky. Nobody who enjoys quality beer is going to drink that much from one container in one sitting. The atmosphere is cool - they played lots of music I like at just the right background volume. The waitresses were young, attractive and friendly, though seemed to know next to nothing about beer. It's nice that Yard House lets you buy a set of sample-size beers at reasonable prices, which is a big plus for noobs to the craft beer world. I loved the Jamaican jerk wings that I had here and some of the other food I sampled was great, too. Still, chains like this and World Of Beer aren't really for me and I'd rather spend my money at an establishment that's more focused on really great beer and expanding the craft beer community.

Yard House has a good selection of beers on tap, although the selections don't rotate or vary much from location to location. Their menu has beers sorted by style with descriptions of each style, making it easier to choose beers for beginners or experts.

They also have a full menu and the food is great, albeit pricey. I would usually go during their happy hour for discounts on beer and half-price appetizers. Atmosphere is always great and the service staff is helpful and knowledgeable about their beers. They also have TVs showing sports games, which can be good if you are going on the weekends.

There signature glass is a yard high. Go figure! It is cool to drink out of it once but after that it is just a hassle. They have so many brews on tap it is ridiculous. My favorite thing to do is get a six pack sampler. I love trying different brews and this is a great way to get that done. Plus they do mix beers such as the classic black and tan. Also an Eclipse which is Guinness and Blue Moon. The food is good too but a bit pricey. Oh yeah and beer floats. Never had one but I am always tempted. I have been a bunch of times and always enjoyed myself. I would go more if it wasn't so pricey. Great place to go and have a couple brews. Unfortunately they do not turn the music off during football games :(

Yard House is the place to go for the best selection of draft beer. 130 different beers on-tap at any given time and they change the available beers regularly, so you can get some variety when visiting the Yard House on regular basis as I do. The food is good, but the food menu is not the most imaginative one though. That's OK by me, since I go there with friends mostly for their selection of beers and the food is sort of a nice addition. Reasonably priced and they have 1/2 yard tall beer glasses!

Yard house here in palm beach gardens, florida. This for a while had been my go to beer place after work.( I work about a mile away and live about 3 miles away) Over 115 taps if memory serves me right, ranging from macro swill to good belgians and craft domestics. My only problem with the beer selection is that they have had the same 99% of the beers since day 1 of opening, which i was at by the way. Recently they have changed out a couple of taps so maybe finally they are getting the message. By the way, i gave the service a 5.0 for the bartenders, very knowledgable and fast, especially my friend Jason. If u want just a beer, don't sit down at a table or high top, it will take forever to get your beer, be forwarned!

i don't want to sound like a jerk, but this place could only be good to someone who has never actually been to a real beer bar. 120 draft beers with no personality, and I seriously didn't want to drink any of them. Everything seemed mediocre and definitely nothing rare (not that rare means good), only one local (Cigar City Maduro Brown) and a depressing Belgian selection. This is a corporate chain that is taking advantage of the craft beer craze and trying to monopolize on it. Quantity is NOT quality. That being said... food is pretty good. Wait staff knows nothing about beer. Clean inside with pretty nice booths, but it all seems contrived. I say demand better, but i will give south FL credit for seeming like it has come a long way in the last few years and at least having a few options nowadays.

On our way home last night we stopped for some drinks and dinner. Since this was my first Yardhouse visit ever, I was quite impressed since I usually don't see that much great draft beer. The keg room can be seen right at the entrance and is fairly impressive compared to most other restaurants.

We were greeted very friendly and while we waited for our table we enjoyed a beer at the bar. The place is loud, there is no doubt, but great atmosphere. The food was great and service was also good.

Unfortunately, there were also some things I didn't like too much. Our server had no clue what she was talking about when she told me about their seasonal beers they currently have after giving me the names. We were also not told that you can get smaller samples of different beers which I would have liked. And one thing got me really interested; why are (almost) all beers they have on tap available in bottles next door at Whole Foods - or wise versa? We stopped at Whole Foods before going to dinner and all they had in stock was pretty much what we saw on the dinner menu. Is it the local distributer? Kinda weird...

The atmosphere at the Yard House is that of a giant sports bar, if that sports bar was full of preening douchebags. It is a very large place, but on the friday night we were there, it was packed full. One could either wait in line for a table or head to the bar. Since we weren't eating, we went to the bar... big mistake. The large bar was packed three deep with douches and there were ropes set up to keep the bar patrons from spreading too far out. Loud, dark and crowded like a nightclub without dancing... not the kind of place I want to have a beer.

The service was as good a could be expected considering how crowded it was. I never had to wait too long for a beer, and the bartenders seemed to have a good idea of what was on the menu. The beers seemed to be mostly served in proper glasses. The beer was a bit expensive, but not really out of line for Palm Beach.

The selection seems to be the big attraction here and that is where they really fall down. They have something like 150 taps, which they claim as the largest selection is the world. First of all, there are bars, not many but some, with more than 150 taps. Secondly, they may have 150 taps, but they have far fewer beers. I counted at least 3 Stella taps spaced roughly evenly around the bar and the same was true for miller, bud, and most of the other American and European macros. It seems that they have about 15 or twenty beers that repeat several times around the bar and between these repeating taps, they have a few unique craft taps. In all fairness, there were some pretty good beers between the masses of macros; perhaps enough to add up to 20 genuinely good beers.

Overall, this place was unpleasant and very over-rated. They do have a few very good beers on tap, but their "huge selection" is intentionally misleading. For me this was like a grotesque parody of a good beer bar.

So I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I walked into this place. I have heard about it through several people when I ask where to get a decent beer in the West Palm Beach area. After walking in I was in love. The bar is huge and they have taps 360 degrees around it. Every style of beer I could think of was well represented (not all breweries I would have picked though). The only down side was the price, obviously being a bit more "upscale" part of Florida you'll expect to pay a little more for a beer but I always made sure to go during happy hour so the prices were more reasonable. I never tried the food...with so much beer on tap I always had liquid dinner! If you ever pass by one of these establishments, don't hesitate or think twice...you won't regret it.

Thought I'd give this place a try even though I knew it was a bad idea. The atmosphere was okay, but could have well been a martini bar. It wasn't too crowded when we went, and the service was pretty good. One thing I didn't care for is since we we had out of state ID's our server took our ID's to be approved by the manager. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I didn't care for someone having my ID for around five minutes. Oh well.

The tap selection was large, but nothing to get excited over. You could pick up everything they had in a bottle about five minutes away at Total Wine. The prices are ridiculous in my book. $5.75 for a pint of Dale's Pale Ale? Wow. My wife and I had a beer a piece, and an appetizer and it came to $24. I understand prices are higher in WPB area, but this seemed a bit much.

I had heard about this place for a long time before gathering a group of friends to go down there. The room is very large and open with the bar right in the middle in a circular pattern. It was very busy so we had to wait for a table. Our wait was very long, almost an hour and a half. During our wait a few of us went to the bar to get a beer. Some had luck while others not so much. A few of my friends waited between 5 - 10 minutes for a bartender to even notice them.

The beer selection is immense and they server the beers in the right glass for each particular selection it seemed.

When we were finally seated our drink order was taken quickly but not returned in such a timely fashion. This may have been because of it being crowded.

Almost everyone ordered food. I was not really hungry but ordered a thing of onion rings. At $9 I expected these to be the best damn onion rings I have ever had. When the food came out I found about 10 onion rings on a pole with a piece of Christmas Tree placed on the top. They were your typical everyday onion rings and the rest of our group found nothing exciting in their normal yet over priced food.

I would say overall it was an experience. Not good, not bad but I would have to say that I probably won't go back anytime soon. I'm not a fan of big crowds and just found it over priced.

After hearing about this place for a year or so I knew it was about time to try it out. When you walk in. you are bombarded with an impressive windowed room of taps everywhere I was truly amazed by this. The place was jammed pack, but the the bar was set up pretty nicely in a circular style with taps running the entire perimeter. I was a bit disspaointed with the overall selection some of the bigger breweries that we have in Florida wasn't represented like they could of been, I remeber only seeing 60 min from DFH there, no others. I had while there Terrapin, maudite and also Murphy's irish stout. The Maudite was served in a snifter and was a little cooler than room temp. maybe this was planned. Overall the food was pretty good and the service was decent.

My wife and I drove into West Palm beach to visit a friend and met at the Yardhouse. Wow, I did not expect this place to be so big. The atmosphere was busy and full of pretentious people claiming to be more than what they are. The selection is of course very large but not solid. You've got your DHF, Lefthand, Terrapins, Brooklyn, and some decent Beligums to name a few, which of course are solid brews. However, there are a lot of mainstream brew to fill space up. The nostalgia and intimacy of a brewpub is nonexisting. I notice that not many people were drinking beer and the ones that were was drinking a lighter styles. Myself, I had Chimay Cinq Cent, Left Hand Milk Stout, Young Double Chocolate Stout and Brooklyn's Brown ale. The food was good along with an excellent service that surprised us. I never expect corporate to have great service but Yardhouse was on top of their game. Overall, I'm neutral about this place. Way to big for me when it comes to a brewpub. However, the service and food even out the experince.

Stopped at the Yard House after flying in to West Palm on my way torward Ft. Pierce.

Located in one of these new, contrived, downtown areas with other high end retail, grocery (Whole Foods) and restaurants. The 1st thing you notice when you walk in the Yard House is the big, cold storage keg room on the left. Kegs and tap lines everywhere. Pretty neat to see. When you walk in to the main dining room, the big, rectangular bar dominates space with an open kitchen off to one side and plenty of table and booth seating on the other side and to one end of the bar. Flat screen tv's abound. The decor is high end. This isn't some sort of sports bar. Lots of dark wood and low lighting. As for the bar. Its big and it boasts that it has something like 120 beers on tap. Nothing too special on draft IMO. Terrapin, Lefthand, Avery, Rogue, Edinger, Sam Adams, DFH, etc.. Not a bad selection but nothing really stood out. Why not more regional beers? Bartender was attentive and didn't have to wait long for beers. Food was pretty good, ordered Jerk Wings and Crab/Artichoke dip. Wings were midly spicing but tasty nonetheless and the dip was good and plentiful. The bar is definitely not a beer geek hang out. More like a nice date bar or a night out with the wife kind of place. Overall not bad and worth a stop if you are in the WPB area.;

When I arrive in hell, I now know I'll recognize it, because I've been to the Yard House. My friend BeerBelcher and I have recently been discussing the importance of a place's appreciation of beer culture, which has nothing to do with the number of great beers a place has. The Yard House has 120 taps surrounding a long, two-sided back bar. (I would've told you any place that has DFH 90 Minute on tap couldn't suck. I would've been wrong.) Everything else about this place is designed for the crowd that has more money than brains. It was like a circa 1983 meat market, with everyone there trying to impress everyone else with how much money they have -- and no-one in the huge crowd was drinking beer! This place is totally ignorant of beer culture. It would actually be better without the great beer selection -- then at least it would know what it is, and when I'm in the mood for a martini, I could go there knowing that the mood of the place wasn't totally wrong for what I'd be drinking. BTW, for having 120 taps, nothing genuinely unusual was there, so that's even a knock againt the selection in my mind.

OMG This place has 112 draft beers! They have almost anything you can imagine on draft. They have things you wont find anywhere else, they even have things you have never heard of. The service and food were exceptional, you wont find better in the area. The place is simply bueatiful, the bar is huge and just keeps going with tap handles. The food us primarily steakhouse fare, it is a bit pricey on some dishes but everything i had was great.I would highly reccomend this place. It's heaven for beer lovers.
