Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium to dark ruddy amber with fine two finger off-white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of rich biscuit malt with light toasted malt, light grassy hops, rather earthy. Flavor is mild biscuit, slightly bready malt, with hints of toasted malt, light hint of non identifiable fruit, light grassy hops. Finishes with lightly hoppy, dry malt. Medium bodied. A pleasant, unassuming malty ale. Malt flavors are good and the hop level is low. I was going to call this an American amber, but the balance, slightly toasty malt and light, but noticeable hops are most similar to British ESBs. I'm a malt fan and enjoyed this, but the flavor is rather subdued. This brewery's malt profile is nice, but only slightly differentiated between its different beers. This beer could well be the same as the "Peak's ESB" already listed here, their (newly on the market) bottled beers all have more Northwest oriented names and may be similar to differently named earlier draft beers from Peaks. I have never had the draft versions and can only guess.
