Atmosphere: Very cozy and calm on the inside which is a nice change compared to all of the other sports bars you'll find on Long Island. There are a few small tables, lots of high bar stools, and a few sofa-like seats on the inside. They have a nice big yard in the back with tables and umbrellas. It's usually not too loud or crowded which is also very nice.

Quality: The quality of the beer is sub-par. This is my favourite pub but it is not because of the beer. They clean out the taps infrequently, the Guinness especially is the most inconsistent tap I've ever had.

Service: Fantastic service, especially when you get to know the bartenders. Service is always speedy, polite, and always willing to chat. If it weren't for the bartenders there I wouldn't ever come back.

Selection: You've got your macros, your imports, and the occasional craft beer like Sam Adams. Lately they've been working to get more local breweries on their taps which is good and they also have their own homebrew on tap.

Food: Cashews, chips, popcorn machine, and a pizza machine. Great for snacking but I would recommend going elsewhere to eat if your priority is food.

Value: $5 for most pints, $6 for imperials. Food is relatively cheap.

This is the sister bar to the Half Penny in Sayville. And while this one has a cozier atmosphere, that also translates to over-crowded on certain nights.

There are several taps to choose from, between your standard macros and some imported Irish and English beers (Newcastle, Boddingtons, Smithwicks, etc) which give you a decent selection. They also have several bottled beers that they don't advertise very well, including some Belgians (Grimbergen) and a few German Pilseners.

Overall this is a quaint little Irish pub on Main Street in Bay Shore. But, like I said, it can get ridiculously jam packed at times.

A very cool place inside and out. The exterior resembles a Dickensian British pub. The interior has beautiful vaulted ceilings and exposed beams.

The decor is consistent with an English/Irish pub. The walls are full of vintage Anglo-Celtic fixtures.

The beer list includes several regional micros, including Blue Point, as well as hard to find British imports.

The popcorn machine is a nice touch also.

There is a large outside sitting area located in the rear.

Just a great overall place with a good beer selection and an authentic pub atmosphere.
