I feel above average blueberry odor and taste! Personally I feel it takes away from some of the other notes! Def for a blueberry lover

Sea Dog Blueberry Wheat Ale brewed by Sea Dog Brewing Company, with an ABV of 4.70% This brew pours out a nice golden amber color with a small white head. The head to this brew goes away fast. Thin spotty lacing on the glass. This smell is rich with Blueberry sweetness, grains and malts. You do pick up on some hop notes in the smell as well. Now for the taste, it is mild on the blueberry, and strong on the grains and malts. I will give it this it is different. Kinda on the fence with this one. It goes down nice and smooth, real clean finish. However I thought there would be more to this brew. More wheat is what I was expecting. The mouth feel of Sea Dog Blueberry Wheat Ale is smooth, clean, light, refreshing. This brew would be nice on a hot summer day. Overall I'm giving Sea Dog Blueberry Wheat Ale a 3.75 out of 5. I may look this brew up again to see if my opinion changes. Not the best I have had but not the worst by any means. Sea Dog Brewing Company, did an ok job with this one.

On tap poured into shaker pint.

A: burnished gold body with great clarity, very little to know head.

S: blueberries through and through. Some light wheat grain smells and a little coriander.

T: blueberries translate very well into the taste, lots of the wheat comes through finishes mild.

M: medium to maybe a touch light feels a little watery.

O: not really a bad beer for what it is but it isn't anything exciting either somebody who doesn't like beer would probably love it.

My daughter bought some of this and I had some during a beer tasting/rating. OK for a flavored wheat, good look and aroma are its strongest points.
