I've only dealt with them with my on line purchases date, their service, selection, and prices have been nothing less than stellar. I've ordered beers from them and each and every time, they have had the beers in stock and when I received them, they were fresh samples! And all of the beers were well packed assuring minimal chance of any breakage. If they are *that* good to deal with online, I can just imagine how good they are to deal with in person. Hopefully some day, I can visit the store in person but until that day arrives....I'd recommend them to *anybody* in an instant!

Tried this place based on the BA reviews...

It is a ways west of town, so if you're without a car, this may not be the place for you as Central Park has some decent craft beer closer to the slopes.

As it was, this place had a very solid selection. We were able to pick up a decent selection of Stone, Elysian, Life & Limb, and New Belgium (Kick & Clutch) beers that aren't available in KS. As we were checking out, the guy at the register informed us that they were getting fresh Pliny in later that day so we got 2 week fresh Pliny as soon as it showed up!

Overall, I would higly recommend this shop to anyone hitting SS in the future.

From my pre-trip beerfly research this seemed like THE store to shop at while in Steamboat (entries for Cellar Liquors and Central Park did not exist at the time). I could not have been more wrong.

First off, this store is WAY out on the edge of town. We took a 15 minute bus ride down a long dark highway miles away from "the scene" and made the treacherous hike to the plaza. Once inside the place looked like kind of a generic packy catering to the mass market crowd. Macro stuff dominated, yet there was a respectable amount of craft. Pliny was in the cooler which deserves some props.

Overall not a bad store, just far too out of the way for the wheel-less tourist. If this is you, save yourself the hastle. I wish I had.

I stopped in here for the first time last weekend while on my way home from Wyoming. The overall store appearance is nice, a pretty small but really not too out of place for Steamboat.

The staff was attentive, and helped me by taking the first few beers that I was carrying around to the checkout counter while I continued to shop. The clerk working there wasn't terribly excited about his job, but did compliment my selection and made a few comments about how Victory's beers and the Green Flash beers were selling really well, and that if I liked hoppy beers that my West Coast IPA was right on. He seemed to know for the most part what he was talking about, but didn't really care too much.

A nice selection of American beers, with a few imports, but the emphasis was really on Colorado and California beers, and other American Micros.

The store wasn't terribly pricey in my opinion, not nearly as expensive as other Colorado stores that I have been to. Not a bad little liquor store, and I'm sure I'll stop again on my way through Steamboat.

I've ordered online from this place a few times. Shipping is fast, selection is decent, prices are reasonable for an online retailer. Liquid Solutions is still my favorite but I have had no problems with Arctic Liquors. I've had very good response time with return emails as well. They do a good job at keeping stock levels up to date (although not a great job). Staff is eager to help but not extremely knowledgeable in my honest opinion. I would say that Arctic Liquors is probably a cool option for some states just east of Colorado. I've also used bottletrek which I've had pretty much the same experience with.

Ordered from them on-line last week.

Service was good for an on-line experience. Website pretty easy to navigate. Decent information about beers available. Checkout not terribly cumbersome. Shipping is what impressed me - less than a week from order to receipt.

Selection was good, in that there was quite a bit of beer that you don't typically see in MD. I picked up some Oskar Blues (found out it was being distributed here in MD the very next day, whoops!) and La Follie. Check out the website, sure to be something you need.

Their base prices are a little high, but not too bad. Shipping costs are what ups the ante.

I'll certainly use them again, but will try to reserve the option as the shipping bumps up the overall cost quite a bit.

Wow. This place has a superb selection. Tons of craft beers and even more in the walk in cooler. I had a hard time deciding when I was here. I found Odell's Double Pilsner here, and I had been keeping an eye out for it for some time. They also had some other beers I hadn't really heard of. That's always nice. Bought a single of Dogfish 90 minute.

Price were a touch high. The sixer of the double Pilsner was $11 and the single was $4.

Staff seemed really disinterested and not super accommodating, but that's ok. Definitely swing by this place if you're in Steamboat.
